The main objective is to benefit both small and medium-sized local producers, as well as to boost the economy of the municipality as a whole. The project arises as a strategic opportunity to strengthen the agricultural economy of Jericó, leveraging resources that could come from the company Anglo Gold Ashanti as a counterpart to the eventual copper exploitation in its Quebradona Copper Mining project, located in this region. The initiative seeks not only to diversify and modernize agricultural practices in the area but also to improve the quality of life of local producers and promote sustainable economic development. It is expected that through the implementation of this fund, the adoption of more efficient and environmentally friendly agricultural techniques, as well as access to training and technology to optimize production, will be promoted.Ítem Lecciones aprendidas en la implementación del proyecto “Agua para la educación, Educación para el agua” de la Fundación EPM(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Giraldo Posada, Adriana Patricia; Barrios Álvarez, Camilo Andrés; Tobar Guinand, José MauricioÍtem Cuantificación del valor social creado por la Universidad de los niños EAFIT durante 2023(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Jaramillo Beltrán, Laura Carolina; Díez Benjumea, Jhon MiguelÍtem Identificación y aplicación de inteligencia artificial en casos de uso basados en gestión de proyectos(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Saavedra Urbano, Paula Andrea; Loaiza Zapata, Yurani; Garnica Barraza, Ernesto José; Cruz Sanabria, Jesús AndrésÍtem Estudio de prefactibilidad del sistema prepago en el acueducto y alcantarillado en el municipio de Arboletes del departamento de Antioquia(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Ceballos Arias, Luisa Fernanda; Vega Arteaga , Sebastián; Gómez Salazar, Elkin ArcesioIn this work the different studies of the UNUDI methodology will be developed to evaluate the pre-feasibility of the pre-pay system in the aqueduct and sewerage system of the Municipality of Arboletes. For this purpose, the problems faced by the Municipality of Arboletes and the monetary losses presented by the company Acueductos y Alcantarillados Sostenibles AAS S.A. E.S.P. due to the unaccounted-for water index (IANC) in the current water and sewerage system are considered. The purpose of evaluating the prepaid system is that, with the purchase and installation of the specific water meter for this system in relation to the “Sirus S”, the IANC, frauds, costs associated with the reinstallation and water meter readings will be reduced and the company will be able to offer a different model to the current postpaid system, given that it allows access to different areas of the municipality and gain new subscribers who, according to their income, can make the respective recharges. It is also important to highlight that the prepaid system allows a better rationing of water resources, as subscribers are more aware of the amount of water to be used and can be more careful with it, as well as the main purpose of guaranteeing access to drinking water to the most economically vulnerable communities in the municipality.Ítem Estudio de prefactibilidad para cultivo de aguacate tipo exportación en vereda “El Chocho” del municipio de San Jerónimo, Antioquia(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Sierra Bolaño, Yulanis Mariet; Ramírez Londoño, Diana Carolina; Gómez Salazar, Elkin ArcesioThe present study focuses on the evaluation of the pre-feasibility for the cultivation of export-type avocados in the "El Chocho" area, located in the municipality of San Jeronimo, Antioquia. This project arises in response to two global issues: the increase in the prevalence of chronic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, and the sustained growth in global demand for avocados, especially in markets like the United States and Europe. In this context, the project aims to analyze the feasibility of establishing an export-type Hass avocado farm on the "Loma Hass" property. The evaluation will be conducted using the ONUDI methodology, encompassing sectoral, market, technical, environmental, legal, and financial studies. The specific objectives of the study include analyzing the project's macroenvironment, investigating national and international market demand and prices, evaluating technical and logistical costs, identifying environmental impacts, defining the project's organizational structure, and assessing its financial sustainability. The scope of the study is descriptive in nature, focusing on collecting and analyzing relevant information for each component of the project. Limitations include geographical, technical, and financial constraints, which will be considered during its development. This pre-feasibility study seeks to provide a solid basis for decision-making regarding the establishment of an export-type avocado farm, addressing key aspects to determine its technical, economic, and environmental viability, thereby contributing to agricultural development and the mitigation of global health problems.Ítem Prácticas aconsejables y desaconsejables en la dirección de equipos de proyectos multigeneracionales : una exploración en empresas del sector energético de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Mejía Varga, Laura; Molina Vásquez, María Paulina; López Gallego, Francisco DaríoThis thesis lists advisable and inadvisable practices in managing multigenerational project teams in energy sector companies in Medellín. The generations included in the study are Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z, each with their own motivations and work styles. The analysis found that the main challenges include differences in communication styles, work expectations, and technology usage. The importance of adaptation, effective communication, and management strategies that promote collaborative work is highlighted to address these challenges. Additionally, the assignment of roles considering the strengths and weaknesses of team members, creating spaces for intergenerational learning, and implementing policies of inclusion and mutual respect are emphasized. The less effective practices identified include the lack of flexibility in leadership styles and not valuing and recognizing the skills and perspectives of younger generations.Ítem Analisís de prefactibilidad para una empresa experta en la comercialización y la instalación de maquinaria industrial utilizada en la producción de empaques de bajo impacto ambiental para la industria de alimentos en Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Echandía Bustamante, Juan Fernando; Salazar Gómez, Francisco JavierÍtem Análisis de lecciones aprendidas en la gestión de proyectos de la Dirección de Tecnologías de la Información de la Universidad EAFIT(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Jaramillo Vargas, Mario Andrés; Sierra Pérez, Juan Esteban; Pabón Ramírez, CarolinaÍtem Modelo de economía circular en el sector de construcción de vivienda en Ocaña como estrategia para fortalecer la gestión de proyectos sostenibles(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Quintero Manzano, Karen Lorena; Tobar Guinand, José MauricioIn recent decades, a growing awareness has been created about the need to address environmental challenges and promote sustainability, the construction sector is in the center of attention as a primary sector to promote the transition towards a more economic model circular. This study focused on the design of a Circular Economy Model within the housing construction sector in Ocaña (Norte de Santander), as a strategy for managing sustainable projects in this specific region. To achieve this, a bibliographic review was carried out that covered concepts of the circular economy, as well as project management and sustainable construction. The methodology used in this study was cross-sectional descriptive with a quantitative approach. The results make it evident that the linear economy continues to be predominant in the productive practices of the construction sector in the city of Ocaña, identifying various opportunities and challenges in the application of the model, among which are the reduction of waste, the optimization of resources, the minimization of operating costs and the promotion of innovation in construction processes. Finally, the research integrates the PMI's PMBOK methodology into the proposed circular economy model, ensuring the incorporation of sustainability criteria from the project planning phase.Ítem Prefactibilidad para el desarrollo de tecnología vestible para aplicación en salud pública femenina(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Orozco Arboleda, Valentina; Doncel Guzmán, Diana Carolina; Henao Arango, María CeciliaViolence against women is a global problem which has manifested itself in various forms of economic, psychological and physical abuse, with greater visibility nowadays.
