Ítem Acciones, impacto financiero y costos en la industria petrolera : efecto de fluctuaciones en precios del petróleo(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Bulla Hernández, Claudia Marcela; Escalante Gómez, Juan EstebanObjective: Analyze the cost management in an oil sector organization, this to identify how the external financial impact and costs produced by the fluctuation of oil prices affect positively or negatively, this to determine the consequent actions for an adequate mitigation process. Method: this is a qualitative case study through circumstantial and historical documentary analysis; the researcher performs non-participant observation to document the technical response that the Colombian company under study applies to the costs, this in a given period of time when the fluctuation of the oil price was down. Results: The researcher, through his documentary analysis, interacted gradually with the activity analyzed, which allowed him to determine the strategies used by the company under study while evidencing the useful processes that led to the solution of the problem. This research allows us to understand how to budget an action plan based on the adaptability of available resources against financial changes, to obtain adverse results that the crisis normally leaves, which makes it possible for the company to remain in the business market. This investigative documentary experience and analysis of the technical contribution in cost reduction, is based on the initiatives of the work team and financial savings obtained, this provides a look-up table that serves as a guide for future administrations in similar cases. Finally, the personal contribution of the researcher is provided by simplifying the documented process, taking into account the potential and optimization methods identified as a result of the documentary analysis. Conclusions: The improvement in the operative efficiency is demonstrable through the documentary analysis, this manages to explain how the geopolitical factors, environmental damages, new technologies of extraction and crude production, influence directly in the fluctuation of the oil price and in turn in the market internal of each country; the financial impact that derives from these factors can be positive when the profitability exceeds the production cost and can be thought of as investment, or of a negative type when the prices fall to the point of putting the cost of production at risk; The fluctuation of oil prices generates drastic consequences in negotiations of all kinds, this reaches several productive sectors of a country. It is to understand that being prepared allows the sustainability of the company in times of crisis, this mitigates the external effect with the optimization of processes. The company under study thanks to its cost optimization plan provides the necessary information to consolidate practical consultation tables with guiding questions.Ítem ¿Los activos de inversión con criterios ASG generan valor para el inversionista? evidencia a partir de ETF(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Hoyos, Jonathan Camilo; Restrepo Ochoa, Diana ConstanzaÍtem La agroindustria bananera como motor del desarrollo socioeconómico de la región de Urabá en los últimos 20 años(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Posada González, Samuel; Quirós Arango, Luis FernandoÍtem Airports, cultural gates: the case of inovative cities of Pekin and Hong Kong(Universidad EAFIT, 2019-07-02) Valencia de la Portilla, Sonia Stefany; Sánchez Chávez, María Angélica; Universidad EAFITÍtem Amphibia : estrategias para mejorar la resiliencia socioecológica en el asentamiento Antonio Nariño del borde urbano rural de la Ciénaga San Silvestre, Barrancabermeja (Santander)(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Carvajal Urrea, Yasmín; Sepúlveda Delgado, Camilo Andrés; Benítez Pérez, Maira Isabel; Ramírez Hernández, Wilson ArielThis degree project deals with how to define, address, and propose alternatives to the problems of a community that is strongly linked to the San Silvestre swamp and the city of Barrancabermeja (Santander), which entails several challenges as it means defining and identifying a multidimensional problem in which a social and ecological system (disturbed by various factors that lead to a loss of socio-ecological resilience) is connected. For this purpose, the conceptual framework of the Intergovernmental Scientific-Regulatory Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) is adapted. It also implies understanding a community in which the artisanal fishing way of life predominates (Antonio Nariño settlement) and a biodiverse and amphibious territory traditionally segregated (urban-rural border of Barrancabermeja). Amphibia is understood as a process that includes understanding the territory as a socio-ecological system, with social and ecological attributes that must remain over time and be restored, including a previous valuation. It also proposes methods that allow involving the communities that inhabit it and the local knowledge in the decision-making process concerning their habitat and ways of life, whose ultimate goal is to propose Nature-based Solutions (SbN, in Spanish) to solve the multiple socio-ecological problems in which natural and social capitals are the main elements.Ítem Análisis de costos para los productos financieros tradicionales dentro de las Fintech colombianas, basado en el costo de servir : caso de estudio(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Zuluaga Vélez, Juan José; Durango Gutiérrez, María PatriciaÍtem Análisis de impacto de los indicadores de sostenibilidad (ESG) en el valor de las compañías del sector energético en América Latina(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Botero Baena, Alicia; Arango Castillo, María José; Yepes Raigosa, David AlejandroThis research work analyzed the impact that ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) sustainability scores have on the generation of value measured by the proxy “valor” in companies operating in the energy sector in Latin America. The study was conducted using annual information published in a period between 2015 and 2022 and was processed through two types of mathematical regression models: simple linear and panel (OLS, GLS). Caso de estudio : mandarina en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Echeverri Cadena, Pedro; Couleau, AnabelleÍtem Análisis de los factores que intervienen en la falta de directrices éticas y de RSE en las cadenas de valor de la mediana y pequeña industria química en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Sierra, Carlos Mario; Giraldo Hernández, Gina MaríaCompanies involved in the value chains of the chemical industry, whether they are producing raw materials or transforming them to launch mass consumer goods to market, tend to re-invest many resources from their operating profits to reinvent and maintain themselves in highly competitive, changing and demanding markets. In several cases, these investments are allocated in new marketing strategies that are more impactful to the consumer, image renewal, product reformulation to demonstrate greater utility or versatility to the end consumer, improvement of operational efficiency, among others, and very rarely they are implemented with the conviction of promoting and incorporating the ethics and social responsibility policies. This evolution process experienced by companies in general, promotes the development of proposals that are striking, motivating, risky, that incite the consumption of a product, and only in some cases seek to raise awareness of end users towards a more controlled, rational and correct consumption of resources. This research tried to do an analysis in order to have an the medium and small segment of the companies involved in the value chains of the chemical industry, in order to understand the priority that these topics have internally, and the main policies and actions that are implemented with the aim of promoting a culture of transparency, ethics in business and of commitment to the environment.Ítem Análisis de sostenibilidad del Programa Zonas de Estacionamiento Regulado Z.E.R. del Municipio de Rionegro Antioquia(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Martínez Echeverri, Gissed Milena; Gómez Franco, Juan Felipe; Garcés Urrea, Deiber Fredy; Vargas Saénz, Mario EnriqueApplying the business case methodology, the research team took as a reference the program Regulated Parking Areas, Z.E.R of the municipality of Rionegro Antioquia, executed by the company SOMOS Rionegro S.A.S; with the objective of carrying out a sustainability analysis from its creation and operating time. These alternatives are usually for the products of daily or habitual consumption, leaving behind the food intake with which consumers had had a long relationship. Within this trend of healthy alternatives, we find a wide diversity of milk substitute products. Among them, goat milk and all the products that come from its development, such as yogurt, cheese, and cream cheese, all these viable alternatives to their plant and animal counterparts. However, despite its viability as an alternative to cow's milk, and in this move towards healthier food, the goat's milk market is much smaller than its cow counterpart in Colombia. Therefore, due to the lack of knowledge regarding this apparent disparity between products, a study should be carried out to discover how this gap can be reduced. To do this, the knowledge, attitudes and practices that millenials may have regarding goat milk products within the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley will evaluated and quantified, the knowledge, the attitudes, and the practices of millenials regarding products derived from goat's milk. A research with a quantitative approach was carried out, the information was collected through the survey technique, which was made from the diagnosis of the knowledge, attitudes and practices of millennials regarding products derived from goat's milk. The results showed that knowledge is low; the attitudes of those who have tried it, in terms of taste, smell and price, are positive or neutral; The greatest motivators or stimuli that were presented for testing were curiosity and tastings. The purchase and consumption of goat's milk and its derivatives is occasional, and only a small percentage of the sample consumes it. Based on these results, relevant aspects are proposed to take it into account in the creation of a strategic marketing plan for this type of product.Ítem Centro Juvenil Salesiano Tejiendo Sueños : propuesta de sostenibilidad, significatividad e innovación social en el barrio la Cecilia de la comuna 3 de Armenia(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Holguín Ordóñez, Óscar José; Maury López, Gustavo Daniel; Bejarano Rivera, RafaelThe Master's degree in Social Enterprise Management for Social Innovation and Local Development motivates the creation of processes of intervention and social change, through inter-institutional alliances that lead to dialogue in the different sectors of society, creating capacities that allow people to be subject to their own transformation. Thus, starting from this paradigm arises the proposal of the Salesian Youth Center "Tejiendo Sueños" in the city of Armenia (Colombia), as a social innovation initiative favoring the creation of capacities and opportunities in children, adolescents and young people. In this case study, an approach is made to the model of implementation and development of this proposal, taking as reference the postulates of Amartya Sen, Manfred MaxNeef, Martha Nusbaum, the criteria of the UN SDGs and the Social Doctrine of the Church, demonstrating that the processes of social innovation arising in the particular contexts of specific local areas, can generate the means for local development and sustainability. The first chapter provides a general context of the population served in the youth center. The second chapter addresses the management process applied in the initiative and finally, the third chapter, concludes with the experiences learned in the process of implementation and application.Ítem Ciudades y regiones(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Acevedo Jaramillo, Ana Beatriz; Duque Cardona, Juan Carlos; Dávalos, Eleonora; Díaz Díez, Cristian; Echeverri R., Alejandro; García Cruz, Gustavo Adolfo; Gómez Velásquez, Alejandro; Leyva Botero, Santiago; Mejía Dugand, Santiago; Muñoz, Juan Carlos; Suárez Tamayo, David; Torres García, Alejandro; Universidad EAFITEste texto aporta en primer lugar recomendaciones para las ciudades en materia de protección ambiental, transporte público seguro y eficiente, energía limpia y renovable, y espacios públicos y accesibles para el encuentro, el esparcimiento y la cultura.
