This research work defined what are the most frequent causes that generate behaviors associated with anxiety in the members of the project teams of a multilatina of the financial sector, this through a mixed study (qualitative and quantitative), with a descriptive and cross-sectional, approach which mixed the information obtained from interviews with project leaders with a characterization of the team members. The main results were: anxiety is higher in projects than in a day-to-day area; leaders are afraid to talk about anxiety, however, there is a lot of interest in learning. Conceptual reference framework: The main elements of the work are the contributions of integrated information systems (ERP) to the management of infrastructure projects. Method: It is descriptive, diagnostic. The qualitative case study method is used, where a comprehensive perspective is considered for the analysis of multiple cases. Surveys were conducted with open responses to 12 company employees with managerial positions, project managers and process leaders. Results: The obtained data allowed us to understand the perception that the interviewed subjects have about the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of ERP systems in companies. In the same sense, the necessary processes were identified during the planning, monitoring-control and closing stages infrastructure projects and, finally, some improvement proposals were presented to the ERP model for making managerial decisions in accordance with the ERP-projects integration. Conclusions: The advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of ERP systems in companies are evident. Iin the development of the research the need to integrate some necessary processes during the planning, monitoring-control and closing stages of infrastructure projects was identified. With the amount of requirements that are presented to the area and the challenges that have arisen in its execution, an analysis was carried out through a survey to the personnel of the technology area directly involved in the company's projects, with the purpose of reaching an analysis of the level of maturity in the area's project management and to have an accurate selection of the project office to be implemented that best suits the business. With this survey it was possible to measure the level of standardization and the perspective of the respondents about good practices in projects; then, the results were consolidated and the information was analyzed to identify the opportunities for improvement and the points that are strengths and should be projected to optimize the process and leverage the rest of the processes that need adjustments and intervention. Finally, it was proposed to implement a project office according to the results found in the survey, in order to define the roles and its structure.Ítem Diseño de una PMO para el área de montajes en la empresa AUDIFARMA S.A(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Pulgarín Castaño, Jordi Sebastián; Tangarife Gallego, Sebastián; Henao Arango, María CeciliaIn the current project it is proposed a Project Office for the Montage Area of the company AUDIFARMA S.A. this due to a series of warnings in which it was identified some difficulties manifested by the intern client of this products, based on these necessities, is performed a gathering of information that allows to identify the proper methodology to introduce this alternative to the organization, since currently the PMO is not available in it. To get this, is performed a documentation of various models of maturity and information related to projects, after this the most proper Maturity model is selected, keeping in mind the criteria that in first place was evaluated in order to choose the model itself, once selected is used to execute the diagnosis for the previously mentioned area, this via Surveys directed to the involved personnel in the different projects, after getting the sample polled, it proceeds to consolidate and analyze the information, founding the following, In first place various focus with improvement opportunity that must be aborded with priority and in second place some other factors that are the strength and must be used to lever the others. In order to extract the processes of identification, selection and hierarchization of projects from the methodologies of preparation, evaluation and project management, an investigation will be carried out of the databases of the indexed journals of the EAFIT University and of the main catalogs of the libraries of the universities of the country better ranking list in project management. The indexed bibliographic sources of the EAFIT university are 138 to date, to reduce the search universe, criteria were established that allowed reducing the search to a total of 6 sources: EBSCO Host, Harvard Business Publishing, IEEE Xplore, Scielo, Google Schola, Science Direct. And in the case of the university catalogs, 4 were selected: EAFIT University, Javeriana University, Universidad de los Andes and Universidad de Antioquia. After this search for documents, monographs, magazine articles and books, a total of 90 articles will be reviewed to build a solid basis for the main processes of identification, selection and ranking of projects based on the methodologies for preparation, evaluation and management of Projects. The results obtained in each study was framed by the significant changes in consumption habits after the covid-19 pandemic, which was experience worldwide from March 2019 to mid-2020. These changes included habits related to improvements in health and well-being, as well as in consumer promotion channels, where digital transformation forced companies to reinvent themselves to reach their customers through e-commerce. Teleworking allowed for greater connectivity between companies during this isolated period, which led to people spending more time in their homes, so families were encouraged to increase the consumption of cleaning products and to contract cleaning and disinfection services. This habit continued after overcoming the health crisis. In the case of Colombia, companies implemented biosafety protocols according to their economic activity, required by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, which led to an increase in contracting with companies specialized in this field, to comply the required standards and protocols required to resume the face-to-face attendance. The previous panorama allowed an increase in the creation of cleaning service companies in the country, to satisfy not only the current demand in homes, but also in the business environment under new quality and service standards, key points that were taken into account throughout this investigation. Based on the previous studies and in a risk analysis, it is concluded that it is a low-risk project for the investor which makes it viable to execute the project.Ítem Estudio de prefactibilidad para la creación de una nueva unidad de negocio en la empresa desinfección industrial del Valle(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Fajardo Rave, Tomás Alfredo; Gómez Salazar, Elkin ArcesioThis work is a pre-feasibility study that allows the partners of the company and investors have information to decide if the organization Industrial Disinfection Del Valle should or should not incorporate a new unit of business which requires efforts, economic, technological, human, etc., to to be able to offer the service that they intend to launch on the market. To bring about this business objective, the present study is carried out, which includes the analysis of the different scenarios involved in the project, to understand your information and reduce risks in decision making; these studies are the following: Sector analysis, study which includes the macroenvironment of the company, how these variables influence, affect or affect external in the development of the project. Market analysis is the study which focuses on the microenvironment of the company, includes all internal agents of the company and analyzes the demand for the service. The administrative study is which analyzes and classifies the profiles and positions of the company's human resources; the study legal and environmental determine all those norms and laws that regulate the project activities; the technical study, includes among other things the value so that the company can operate, contemplating aspects such as inputs, machinery, labor, administrative staff, working capital, among others; the financial study, makes a statement of results, with a cash flow to 5 years, generating key indicators for decision making and finally the study of risks where the impact of the probabilities of some external event is analyzed that affect the value of the NPV generated in the financial studyÍtem Evaluación expost de un proyecto en las etapas de estructuración y operación para identificar las lecciones aprendidas bajo el esquema “start up as a service”(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Cancino Joya, Deissy Patricia; Rios Calderon, Yaizza Tatiana; Gómez Salazar, Elkin ArcesioC-Labs is a Colombian company established in Bogotá that collaborates with big Latin American companies to execute corporate entrepreneurship projects. Its main goal is creating and developing business ideas into real projects with tangible and successful results. C-Labs executed in 2021 a project called Babyboom with a Colombian corporate ally. Babyboom was a project executed under the "start up as a service" model to prove a business case for a diaper product. This business research seeks to find the lessons learned from the Babyboom project in its planning and operation stages. As part of the analysis, this business research was developed using the Mario Coquillat methodology, and the PMI, PMAJ and PRINCE2 methodologies for the management of lessons learned. This research also analyses semi-structured interviews and secondary information such as company’s documents, presentations, and reports. As part of the results, this analysis finds ten project’s lessons learnt that impacted Babyboom financially and its execution plan. These findings are expected to contribute to future corporate entrepreneurial projects with similar characteristics of "start up as a service" model. Moreover, it contributes to research topics such as knowledge management, standardization of documents and lessons learned management. As part of the conclusions, it highlights that for next projects C-Labs will have to improve their planning process, financial process, documents standardization and human resources selection to enhance their project execution and earn better implementation results.
