In 2009, the Universal Child Allowance for Social Protection (AUH) was created to equalize the rights between children, the ones born on families with formal jobs and those born on families with informal jobs or even unemployed ones. This document analyzes the implementation of the AUH on the national level and it’s focused on the state of Tucumán. The research seeks to reveal the problems associated with poverty and inequality. Analysing the scope of actions that each sub-national jurisdiction has: and generally, this is involved with operations to summon, disseminate and register the beneficiaries of it. Even though the role of the provinces is not relevant in the implementation of this public policy, it does allow reducing the number of actors involved, which tends to limit the incidence of political factors and its management becomes more efficient. Otherwise, the lack of participation of subnational governments in the implementation of the AUH may also constitute a deficiency since it limits the potential for dialogue between jurisdictional levels of government that could contribute to the comprehensiveness of public policies. Finally, recommendations will be presented in order to improve the management of the program and its coordination with other national and local initiatives.Ítem Conociendo los aspectos del entorno educacional del estudiante del 1er, 2do, 3er y 4to grado de primaria que tienen una mayor influencia en su formación lectora, promovida a través de la estrategia del plan lector, a propósito del caso de un colegio particular en el Callao, durante el periodo escolar 2009(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Angulo Zevallos, Amalia Ruth Carmela; Vargas Sáenz, Mario EnriqueThe Reading Program, as a teaching strategy in Peru, promotes an environment where the school principal, teachers, and parents are involved in developing critical thinking and reading comprehension strategies in different contexts. This was created as a result of the low academic indicators that students received in the categories of math and reading comprehension of the world evaluation Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA 2001). In the school, Good Shepherd, students from 1stto 4th grade put this program into practice, which consisted of 20-minute daily readings. The goal would be to develop reading comprehension and critical thinking strategies with support from the school and family members who were all determined to achieve it. While monitoring this program, in a private school environment, it was evident that there was an improvement in knowledge and the outcomes that were suggested to overcome the deficiencies at home. These key points were identified: • The fact that parents and teachers were working together and shared responsibility. • The increase in reading hours at home and school increased the students’ vocabulary. • Students’ improvement in creating questions and responding in a more defined manner. It is important to mention, how this was all achieved: • By identifying roles and developing strategies that created more interaction. • The strategies improved the child’s development in reading comprehension in an effective way. • Establishing a wholesome environment in the classroom, library and extracurricular activities in the school. To achieve these outcomes, it is necessary to have a structural process, set formal alerts, and create supporting activities and indicators that allow a time efficient and effective response to any situation.Ítem Consultoría de plan de mercadeo para Luminosa(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Prado Moncada, Esteban; López Moreno, Martha CeciliaTo have the skills to understand and identify the problems that SMEs face when offering and creating value could be the antidote to counteract their low level of competitiveness and increase their survival over time. This study presents the development of a marketing plan for the Luminosa entrepreneurship, a candle producer that, based on its empirical experience and knowledge transfer from the academy, seeks to improve its processes and increase its competitiveness. Throughout this proposal, it is confirmed that all the stages of the planning process are interrelated and should not operate in isolation; all are important and contribute to the development of the SME. Therefore, it is necessary to grant small and medium-sized entrepreneurs structured tools to carry out a marketing plan that, beyond increasing sales, allows them to start an expansion process, without neglecting the generation of competitiveness and the contribution to the country's development.Ítem Control in family businesses(Universidad EAFIT, 17/06/2011) Luis Cisneros; Guillermo Ramírez; Arturo Hernández; Profesor adjunto en HEC Montréal (Montréal, Québec, Canadá); está adscrito a la Cátedra “Entrepreneurship” y al Centro Internacional de Familias Empresarias McGill-HEC Montréal.
