Conceptual reference framework: the conceptual reference makes a journey from the approach to the definition of leadership based on authors such as Enciso (2012); González (2015); Martínez, (2012); Páez, & Perilla, (2012) up to the leadership styles according to Alles (2005) and competences for the management of educational institutions, going through the types of leadership, antecedents of leadership, leadership theories, instruments for the measurement of leadership, Leadership in the sources of power in organizations, authority, power and leadership based on Cabrera & Zayas, (2006) leadership and leadership in organizations, attitude an approach to its definition, components of attitude and, leadership styles and competences for the management of educational institutions. Method: quantitative research with a descriptive and cross-sectional approach. A case study based on the application of self-administered questionnaires to employees in the middle positions of a family company in the educational sector in the city of Barranquilla, focused on three categories: Belief in the middle management, feelings regarding the middle managers and behaviors potentials towards the middle management, developing in three phases; the initial phase consists in the identification of the state of the art in relation to the existing theories on leadership and the performance of functions in middle positions; the intermediate phase, consists of a fieldwork based on the design of the instrument, approach with the subjects participating in the research and data collection through self-administered questionnaires and the final phase, where it is tabulated, an analysis is made statistical information and the conclusions resulting from the analysis of the information.Ítem Análisis de la percepción del endomarketing en una institución de educación superior en Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2018) Escobar Varela, María Alejandra; Muñoz Molina, YaromirThe present proposal is of descriptive exploratory type, and intends to approach the notion of endomarketing to achieve a better understanding within the organizations, and for that, they take into account subjects such as organizational climate, internal public, orientation to the service and culture, with the final objective of acquiring the tools required in the deep analysis in the results -- The present study makes a description of the theoretical references that are directly related to the notion of endomarketing and that make inferences about the multiple denotative and connotative variables that base in structures on the internal public of companies -- In addition, reading and contrasting these sources provides the necessary elements to clarify the application of this proposal as a tool -- In addition, a description of concepts complementary of endomarketing is done, and the role they play in their application with actions focused on the internal public that have an impact on aspects such as the organizational climate and the performance of employees and that, later, have positive impacts on organizational profitability and culture alignment, is analyzed -- Besides assimilate and incorporate these conclusions, the objective will be to verify the relevance of an endomarketing strategy in in educational institutions and specifically in the university world of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, located in Medellin, including workers who have a vinculation of more than six monthsÍtem Caracterización de tensiones y conflictos en la interacción entre líderes y empleados en una empresa del sector productivo de la ciudad de Bogotá(Universidad EAFIT, 2018) Durán Rozo, Dany Arnulfo; Henao Galeano, Carlos MarioObjective: identify tensions and conflicts that emerge in the interaction between employees and company leaders in the productive sector, specifically in the production and commercial areas, in order to identify their influence in organizational climate and job performance -- Method: For the investigation a case study method was developed with a hermeneutic orientation, In addition to the above, the research is of a descriptive nature since the intention was to identify tensions and conflicts generated by the leaders of a productive sector organization in the city of Bogotá, to understand how the organizational climate and the work performance are affected, using the methodology of case study -- In order to achieve this purpose, semi-structured interviews were used as a data collection technique -- It is necessary to indicate that the information collected was subjected to an analysis process that allowed carrying out the projected objectives -- Instruments: tools were available to determine the causes that led to propose a research to identify tensions and conflicts generated by the leaders of an organization in the productive sector, in this case a question guide, an analysis matrix and an exercise in triangulation of information. To do so, I apply Jales (2018) two-sector model that involves parametric and non-parametric estimation of parameters of interest that govern the estimated distribution of wages in the absence of the minimum wage. To meet the established objectives, research was carried out to establish a framework for study and analysis of the different dimensions of labor well-being that must be considered when the work mechanism includes teleworking, whether in full-time or part-time mode. Once a clear conceptual framework was defined, a study was carried out with a quantitative approach through a survey that would allow collecting information on the perception of an established population group regarding the variables that would analyze the 9 dimensions for an evaluation model of the impact of the teleworking in occupational well-being. People from different types of companies within the ICT sector in Bogotá – Colombia participated in this survey. The results obtained through the analysis of the survey data made it possible to identify key aspects of the impact of teleworking on work well-being, such as some aspects being more relevant for women and men, and where they stand out as aspects with greater alteration due to the teleworking, interpersonal relationships, work overload and occupational illnesses. The analysis of the different dimensions opens the door to subsequent research that allows the impact and possible paths to remedy the effects of teleworking on workplace well-being to be measured in detail.Ítem Influencia de las horas trabajadas por un empleado en su productividad(Universidad EAFIT, 2016) Herrera Chica, ElianaEn este artículo se propone establecer la influencia de las horas trabajadas en la productividad de los empleados en Colombia -- Para esto se realizó una revisión de la literatura acerca de la productividad laboral, se recurrió a investigaciones realizadas por Organizaciones reconocidas, se consultaron casos de éxito en otros países donde se ha implementado la reducción de la jornada laboral, y se aplicaron encuestas en empresas de la ciudad de Medellín -- Como resultado se concluye que las mejoras en la productividad laboral no dependen de un único factor (reducción de las horas de trabajo), sino también de otros factores como la tecnología, innovación, niveles de educación, entre otros, en los cuales Colombia, aunque viene haciendo un esfuerzo importante para desarrollarlos, debe trabajar más en ellos para lograr mayores fortalezas y eficienciasÍtem ¡No sólo el dinero hace empleados felices!
