The research was based on statistics data provided by CIAF. It is about students who have retired from the educational center, for which an instrument for data collection was developed through a focus group; The data collected was processed by finding the multiple reasons why students have dropped out of their academic purpose, in other words, they did not finish their professional career to which they aspired when they entered. The research is expected to generate an impact on the educational process of CIAF students, making it known some of the main reasons why they have dropped out of the University, and being able to take corrective strategies in order to reduce dropout rates currently presented.Ítem La experimentación educativa, social y técnica en los medialabs universitarios(Universidad Complutense de Madrid, 2020-01-01) M. VILLA; A. MARULANDA; T. MOLINA; Universidad EAFIT. Escuela de Ciencias y Humanidades; Estudios CulturalesThis study explores the activities, projects and lines of action of twenty-four media labs of Higher Education Institutions, chosen from a non-probabilistic system. A qualitative content analysis is applied on it to map the characteristics of the laboratories. Following an inductive process of categorization, the study identifies as outstanding work axes initiatives that materialize the principles of collective intelligence, encourage the transformation of teaching and learning systems, and promote the use of multimedia and audiovisual languages ?inside and outside the classroom. The results underline the teaching patterns that strengthen the links of Institutions with their social environments. The projects and initiatives found show how media labs facilitate new ways of reaching knowledge in areas as varied as art, design, journalism or engineering through the use of technologies. © 2020, Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Universities are a fundamental actor, in the knowledge society, because they have accumulated and concerned scientific knowledge through teaching and research for decades. However, the role of universities has become more active and has begun to develop searches for more intervention in social challenges. At this point, the Social Innovation appears as a possibility to continue developing this functions and serve their capacities to the society. The research starts approach the question of how the academy can participate and promote the Innovation Social processes. Given the above, this research takes the PUJ (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana) as a reference to understand how, with the framework of serving society and influencing socio-environmental challenges, the innovation ecosystem operates and if said ecosystem has innovation social traits. In this case study, we proceed to compare the PUJ Model ecosystem with another university ecosystem proposed by the Tuning Latin America Project called ISUR (Responsible University Social Innovation). After the comparative exercise, we proceed to investigate inside PUJ, through self-assessment exercise and interview, the level of social innovation capacity that the Institution has. Finally, we proceed to provide some key guidelines so that the current PUJ Model can develop main elements to become increasingly an social innovation ecosystem.Ítem TAG: Three dimensions as basic references for the construction of ubiquity learning environments in a university context(2012-01-01) Restrepo, C.Z.; Pulido, J.L.; Venegas, M.A.; Núñez, R.A.; Mejía, C.V.; Velásquez, O.A.; Universidad EAFIT. Departamento de Ingeniería de Sistemas; I+D+I en Tecnologías de la Información y las ComunicacionesThis article introduces a set of conceptual guidelines for the construction of the model "TAG", in Spanish: Tecnología, Aprendizaje y Gestión (Technology, Learning and Management). The model seeks to determine the levels of ubiquity in higher education institucions. This proposal arises from the review of experiences in the development of strategies for the construction of environments intervened by technologies and the elaborated conceptualization about the term Ubiquitous Learning.Ítem La universidad y los trabajos del futuro / Universidad EAFIT ; Claudia Patricia Restrepo Montoya ; Ricardo Sierra Fernández(Medellín : Universidad EAFIT, 2022-06-01) Universidad EAFIT; Restrepo Montoya, Claudia Patricia; Sierra Fernández, Ricardo; Universidad EAFITÍtem Universidad, empresa y Estado : aliados en sintonía con la sociedad(Medellín : Universidad EAFIT, 2022-12-02) Restrepo Montoya, Claudia Patricia; Hoyos Lopera, Alberto; Universidad EAFIT; Compañía de Galletas Noel
