Ítem Agencia de consultoría en mercadeo para emprendedores y pymes en el eje cafetero(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Valderrama Narváez, José Eduardo; Gómez Restrepo, Laura Lizeth; Arias Cuesta, Lina María; Sepúlveda Cardona, Edwin AndrésBased on the problems identified in the sectors of entrepreneurs and pymes in Pereira city, which has a great impact on the economy of the Coffee Region, where there is evidence of a high number of such companies that close in their first year of opening and considering that in the Chamber of Commerce of Pereira there are no consulting companies registered in the 2021 business census of traders. Therefore, this study provides a comprehensive overview of marketing status in the sample taken, as well as important information regarding the value proposition for the creation of the marketing agency / accelerator for entrepreneurs and pymes in the Coffee Region, considering the impact on the regional economy. For this purpose, a mixed non-probabilistic exploratory study was conducted with data analysis employing three methods that allowed the triangulation of the information through in-depth interviews with experts, surveys with multiple choice questions and systematic review of indexed journals. This rigorous approach adds credibility and consistency to the study. Increasing web applications allow a fast, multi-platform and multi-device access to data. As a result, web applications must be optimized in order to be performed heterogeneously as well as on high-performance as on low capacity devices. This paper presents a hardware-accelerated scheme for integration-based flow visualization techniques, based on a hierarchical integration procedure which reduces the computational effort of the algorithm from linear to logarithmic, compared to serial integration methodologies. The contribution relies on the fact that the optimization is only implemented using the graphics application programming interface (API), instead of requiring additional APIs or plug-ins. This is achieved by using images as data storing elements instead of graphical information matrices. The EIE concept is used to align the corporate strategies with the use of PLM technologies in order to impact the key performance indicators (KPIs) in the enterprise. An EIE reference framework is proposed to define strategies, evaluate performance measures, design/re-design processes and establish the enabling tools and technologies to support the enterprise strategies, while A-R is proposed to guide the PLM tools implementation at various stages of the product development process. These changes are making it necessary to adapt the curriculum in order to develop the skills needed by the XXI century engineer. Moreover, instead of thinking in a large curriculum reform at a specific moment, it is necessary to define curriculum management processes that include change as a natural component of the process. In addition to these global trends, each institution has a particular context and thus, the analysis in each institution has unique characteristics, a common methodological approach, and a reference model that can be built as long as it is flexible enough to include that context. This paper describes a model developed for curriculum management inside the School of Engineering at Universidad EAFIT - Colombia. This model includes the institutional context and is based on a process approach defined by the Business Process Management (BPM) methodology. The model uses the Burlton Hexagon as a theoretical framework to identify organizational structure, strategies, policies, infrastructure, technology tools and human capital. It is also a mechanism for specifying curricular macro processes including the global and institutional context. The proposed model is based on three pillars: (a) scientific research in education, which promotes the use of the scientific method as a strategy to ensure an approach to problems based on evidence which allows the construction of educational innovation projects, (b) education engineering focused on engineering education, which transforms the learning by developing basic, professional, and transversal skills as well as those specific for an engineer of the XXI century, and (c) interactive educational communities, both face to face and virtual, as spaces for knowledge management that support collaborative working and experience-sharing, managed by its members working together promoting initiatives to develop educational innovation projects focused on specific topics, that answer questions related to teaching and learning needs. The formulation and development of educational innovation projects are the responses to different needs identified on specific courses that are transformed into research questions. These projects aim to renew the curriculum so that it dynamically evolves based on classroom experiences. Thus, the curriculum renewal is based on critical thinking about the problems found in engineering education. The use of the scientific method and the collaborative approach enables drawing solid conclusions based on the experimental results. The model proposes the formulation and development of innovative educational projects in which scientific research applied in education aims to transform teaching, academic and administrative practices. As consequence, curricular innovations that integrate learning objects and educational, methodological and assessment strategies, are developed by an interactive learning community composed by teachers. Finally, the results obtained by applying the model in some courses in the School of Engineering of Universidad EAFIT are presented. These results include reducing the drop-out rate of students, redefining admission and graduation profiles, and micro-curricular redesign based on competences using projects, among others. © 2014 IEEE.Ítem Investigar, publicar y divulgar. Most of the SMEs have the same problems, short-term vision, low investment level, low projection, a market with high tax rates, lack of demand and high competition. The objective of the investigation is to know the lines of action that Psicotec In must follow for the 2025 scenario, in such a way that it allows it to differentiate itself from the competition, grow in the market and have sustainability. The Delphi methodology will be used, it will serve as a predictive model of a possible 5-year trend on how the evolution of Psicotec In could be managed, its transformation and positioning that supports the design of strategies in a combination of market experience, vision of new services and implementation of technological tools. A panel of 7 experts was selected, comprising company personnel and external persons with extensive knowledge in the industry that is being targeted, to carry out the consultation in 2 phases. As part of the findings of this research and the conclusions generated, there is a high level of convergence by the panel of experts on some lines of action.
