We managed to discriminate the analysis by economic sectors using a new module presented in the Encuesta Pulso Empresarial (EPE) of the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) in 2022. The module collects data from more than 8,500 companies on the adoption, reasons for use and non-use of AI technologies. During the investigation, we discovered that organizing administrative processes is one of the main issues that the implementation of AI would solve. Nonetheless, high acquisition costs and lack of experienced personnel capable of using AI makes its implementation more difficult. Through a probability model, it is evident that, among other factors, using the Internet, digital platforms, investing in software equipment, carrying out research and development activities, increase the probability of adopting AI technologies. These research adds as an innovative element a set of variables considering perceptions and expectations that companies have related to present and future economic situations and its influence on the adoption of AI technologies.Ítem Agencia de consultoría en mercadeo para emprendedores y pymes en el eje cafetero(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Valderrama Narváez, José Eduardo; Gómez Restrepo, Laura Lizeth; Arias Cuesta, Lina María; Sepúlveda Cardona, Edwin AndrésBased on the problems identified in the sectors of entrepreneurs and pymes in Pereira city, which has a great impact on the economy of the Coffee Region, where there is evidence of a high number of such companies that close in their first year of opening and considering that in the Chamber of Commerce of Pereira there are no consulting companies registered in the 2021 business census of traders. Information coding was conducted following the grounded theory research. Segments of analysis in the literature review, which were not preconceived prior to the initiation of this investigation, were identified and grouped into categories. Subsequently, matrix analyses and relationship networks or concept maps were used to visually demonstrate and compare the strategies that make up the design policies in each country/region. In addition, a relationship between competitiveness corporate ladder, growth of competitiveness and performance in innovation with the maps of the strategies could be established. The countries in the top 15 of the different rankings are those that have a higher chromatic brand because they have a higher number of strategies that promote design as a strategy. This comparative analysis can be used in different types of design policies of any territory in order to carry out an initial detection of existing strategies and to know the complexity of a specific design policy.Ítem Análisis comparativo de políticas de diseño en Europa: Clasificación y visualización de estrategias(Universidad de Caldas, 2017-01-01) González C.G.; López M.L.; Hernández M.C.; Universidad EAFIT.
