In order to determine the opening of a new operation of the Creser Group and search for its international expansion, a proposed guideline for carrying out a feasibility study was examined and analyzed. With the application of the method, in addition to knowledge about school feeding programs in Colombia (PAE) and active participant as a food service provider, the search for growth to be a provider in similar initiatives for other governments in neighboring countries is an ambitious projection -- Among the measures that the Colombian Ministry of Education has to improve the conditions of children and adolescents enrolled in public institutions, a strategy is implemented which involves the creation of a school feeding program for these assistants -- Its main objective is to strengthen their permanence in school; in addition to improving their living conditions to those in vulnerable areas by improving their learning ability through the provision of a food supplement -- In Colombia, school feeding programs have allowed the prioritization and targeting of vulnerable populations: indigenous, victims of armed conflict, and others with nutritional and / or socio-economic vulnerability -- PAE's efforts are centered on two focuses: the selection of educational institutions according to geographical location and level of education is whether it is preschool, primary or secondary; in the other hand, is the selection of beneficiaries goes in accordance with the factors before -- The country is not the only one in Latin America implementing this type of program -- The initiative expands to all countries in the region with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations -- Its main purposes are the eradication of hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition, where the government of each country plays an important role in the development of these objectives, towards a sustainable management of resources such as land, water, air, etc. for future generations. (FAO, 2017) -- Countries like Brazil, Guatemala, Ecuador, Salvador, are already part of this -- It is intended that other countries implement these types of plans that align with the dream that has been drawn by FAO of Latin America and the Caribbean without Hunger 2025 -- Creser Group, with more than eight years of experience in providing food services through school restaurants in different educational institutions in Colombia as one of the government's suppliers in the PAE, is a business group made up of private economy companies such as: Alimentarte Foundation, Nutriser Colombia and Natulpan; the excellent operation of the program has given it recognitions that make it one of the most important groups in the sector -- Thanks to the growth of the group in its operation and the opportunities for expansion that occur both inside and outside the country for the drive to eradicate hunger and improve people's living conditions, Creser seeks to carry out a feasibility study with a view to exporting Service of school restaurants to the country of Panama; A country that due to its great economic growth and stable government policies become an epicenter for the search of new markets -- The Panamanian Food Security Program acts in a similar way as the other programs under FAO's leadership to guarantee the right to every person to be free from hunger -- Thus, the Creser group looks for be directly involved as a provider because it is viable

Through the UNIDO methodology for the preparation of industrial feasibility studies, it will be established whether if is feasible that the six partners of the design architectal company Bassico Arquitectos’ dedicate to their firm one hundred percent of the working time. Despite they have been working part time to develop some projects, they have not made yet the decision to work full time at their company because there is not any analysis of how to things need to be in order to do it. By market, environment, sectorial, finances, legal and risks studies, that let us cover the nine insights defined by Osterwalder, a business model will be developed to show an operational plan, an organizational structure and a value proposal that allows them to decide continuing or quitting their current jobs.

This research proposal is exposed as a solution to the problem of excess inventories suffered by international traders throughout a specific period of the year between June and August, the financial viability of starting a dehydrated cape gooseberry processor -- The research will expose the background of the product, its context in the Colombian and European market, as well as the impact it has on the different stakeholders directly and indirectly linked to the national horticultural sector -- Through a thorough investigation, we will get to know the countries with the highest consumption of dehydrated cape gooseberry, with the purpose of segmenting the market, knowing the niche where the product can be exported, analyzing the entire export process regarding INCOTERMS, packaging process, costs and freights, transportation and negotiation, among others, to minimize risks, costs and other inconveniences that arise in the negotiation of dehydrated cape gooseberry -- Likewise, technical, administrative, legal, environmental and financial analyzes will be carried out, taking into account costs, supplies, working capital, statement of the financial situation, income statement and free cash flow that allows knowing the IRR, NPV, EBITDA, EBITDA Margin, ROE and ROA of the new business unit

In the present document are presented the report of the research carried out in the Master in Project Manager at EAFIT University, which has the general objective to carry out a feasibility study for the creation of a Shared Services Center for the Funeral Sector of Colombia, which was based in Manizales. To achieve this, a descriptive and qualitative research methodology with quantitative elements was used, in which especially the variables of the financial study were measured, to facilitate the decision-making. In turn, the UNIDO methodology is the guide with which the feasibility study was developed. For the marketing study, a semi-structured survey was used, using non-probabilistic sampling. Also, the collection of information was complemented with interviews with experts in both the funeral and in the BPO sector. Taking into account not only the financial evaluation of the project but also the investor, in which it is established that the NPVs are positive and the IRR is greater than the discount rate in all scenarios, the analysis of all its components lets conclude that it is a viable and feasible project. It is recommended to carry out an adequate risk plan, as it is evident how these can significantly affect the results.

A feasibility study is a tool that supports the decision to execute or discard a project. This decision is made based on a market, technical and financial study; that considers factors such as technical impossibilities, market strategy, market size, minimum requirements, projections, financial, legal and environmental evaluation criteria. The modular bag is a purposeful and new product for the Guatemalan market, born from the day-to-day need of women to adapt such an important accessory to the different activities they perform without losing style and functionality. To ensure that the product has a market space, which is technically viable and financially attractive. This feasibility study was developed to support the decision to execute the project or not within the Guatemalan market. This work develops the concept of bags, its history and importance in a market analysis to determine if there is a space for this product. The technical study confirms if it is possible to manufacture the bag and its commercialization. In addition, the legal and environmental viability of manufacturing the bag are ensured. Ending with a financial analysis that develops step by step all the necessary information to establish an income statement and determine with it, if the investment is attractive or not.

Anatomy is considered one of the most important subjects of the academic programs within the health area, as it leads to a good clinical performance to professionals who have been trained in it -- However, there have been deficiencies with the techniques used for its study, currently complemented with tools based on the radiological images -- In addition, those which don’t just provide virtual learning systems, but also tangible anatomical models, made in 3D printers -- Hence, from a material adding process by layers that allow getting exact organ reproductions and human body systems which give a deeper access to pathologies hardly found in the available corpses for research -- Knowing this situation, a feasibility study was carried out to find out if those 3D printed models are viable in Medellin, although other clinical researches are also known, specifically surgical -- This research was done through the available technologies and the use of tools provided by project management -- This proposal’s development is supported on ONUDI methodology and on the different defined tools -- Moreover, a strategy which includes a literature review and the application of a structured questionnaire in order to know at the market level, the proposed models acceptance

The objective of this work is to carry out a market study for the provision of intravenous sedation services in ambulatory gastroenterology procedures in the pediatric population in Bogotá, to identify the feasibility of offering such a service in pediatric gastroenterology institutions. The study was carried out in hospital institutions and independent providers that provide their services on an outpatient basis. The most relevant variables for the research were defined and, according to the objectives, a survey was designed to obtain the information. With the results and their analysis, a clear identification of the cost structure of sedation and general anesthesia, it is identified that the intravenous sedation technique is the most widely used, and that providers and institutions perceive great operational and economic advantages. It is possible to establish that the price of the value of sedation for these procedures is largely unknown, and in the institutions that provide this service, a great difference is evident with respect to the price they charge and this is due to the fact that the price is agreed individual for each institution and for each payer. With the information obtained, it can be concluded that the implementation of the intravenous sedation service to carry out pediatric gastroenterology procedures in the city of Bogotá is feasible. However, there are other techniques that must to be studied in depth, evaluating cost, price, and benefits for the provision of the service.

The objective of the present degree work is to analyze the pre-feasibility of creating a cleaning and disinfection company in the city of Medellín, through the implementation of the methodology for the preparation and evaluation of Onudi projects, for which a project investment through the detailed analysis of seven studies: sectoral, market, technical, organizational, legal, environmental, financial and risk analysis was developed. The results obtained in each study was framed by the significant changes in consumption habits after the covid-19 pandemic, which was experience worldwide from March 2019 to mid-2020. These changes included habits related to improvements in health and well-being, as well as in consumer promotion channels, where digital transformation forced companies to reinvent themselves to reach their customers through e-commerce. Teleworking allowed for greater connectivity between companies during this isolated period, which led to people spending more time in their homes, so families were encouraged to increase the consumption of cleaning products and to contract cleaning and disinfection services. This habit continued after overcoming the health crisis. In the case of Colombia, companies implemented biosafety protocols according to their economic activity, required by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, which led to an increase in contracting with companies specialized in this field, to comply the required standards and protocols required to resume the face-to-face attendance. The previous panorama allowed an increase in the creation of cleaning service companies in the country, to satisfy not only the current demand in homes, but also in the business environment under new quality and service standards, key points that were taken into account throughout this investigation. Based on the previous studies and in a risk analysis, it is concluded that it is a low-risk project for the investor which makes it viable to execute the project.

Prefeasibility studies are used to reduce uncertainty when is wanted to reach an unknown market with either a business idea, product, service or new company, this study gives a preliminary idea of how the behavior of the product, service or company will be in terms of: market penetration capacity (market study), technical requirements to support the service (technical study) and financial viability (financial study) -- In the present document a pre-feasibility study was carried out for a business idea in the healthcare sector, with which any person with access to internet will have the possibility of accessing a portal where he can find a wide range of health services, from the simplest treatment to naturopathic medicine -- In addition to the pre-feasibility study developed in this document, the author recommends starting first with a service that is well known by the founding partners and that will give an idea of how the market will behave with this type of offer; the service that will be offered in the first instance will be dentistry

This study evaluates the pre-feasibility to build an asphalt and crushing plant at the El Faro quarry, located on the road to Lisboa also known as Quiebra de Velez, 4km away from Manizales Caldas. The initial development is to take place using United nations industrial development (UNIDO) methodology, where all variables related to the construction phase are assessed in order to meet future material demand within the Caldas department. This includes the public infrastructure improvement works currently taking place such as housing commissions and 4G roadworks. The main objective of the study is the acknowledgement and understanding of areas such as environmental studies, surroundings and market analysis, including offer and demand of raw materials (asphalt, crushed rock, aggregates and structural fill). Furthermore, it is necessary to include technical studies to determine the machinery and civils works required for the plant operation, organizational study and meet legal environmental requirements including environmental licences and management plans. Lastly, the project risk and financial studies are declared for prospect investors decision making.
Estudio de prefactibilidad para la oferta de bonos de carbono en cultivos y de reforestación de terrenos baldíos en Colombia

This work aims to formulate a pre-feasibility study to evaluate the viability of offering carbon credits in the crops and reforestation of wastelands in Colombia by means of the ONUDI methodology. For this, the factors and conditions of the environment such as the political, economic, social, technological, ecological and legal aspects that affect the project are analyzed, in addition the market conditions are reviewed to identify the product, the place, the price and the promotion, the technical, administrative and legal aspects of the project are described, to review the role of intermediation between the interested parties, the farmers and the construction companies that need to compensate their emissions. And the project is financially evaluated using the criteria of cash flows, income statement, internal rate of return (IRR) and net present value (NPV). The results show that the project is viable for the case of a probable scenario and that it has a potential client in the construction guild, which must comply with the regulations of compensation of emissions by industry. The estimated price of carbon credits is 80 USD per ton of CO2 compensated. The project also contributes to the development of Colombian agriculture and to mitigate climate change.
