To this end, the methodological design used: The qualitative approach, documentation as a secondary data collection technique and the in-depth sessions or focus groups, as a primary data collection technique. An exhaustive analysis of the company's situation was carried out, based on this a diagnosis was made using the SWOT matrix. After studying the corporate objectives provided by the company, several strategies were analyzed and the most convenient one was chosen. Finally, a format was designed to provide control and monitoring the proposed strategy. The investigation carried out revealed, that the growth of Ingeniamos presented in the corporate report of the last few years, did not report growth; therefore, the company must necessarily grow. The work concluded with the design of the strategy: Empowerment of the current business - New business models; and with the design of basic operational decisions, which will ensure the adequate implementation of the strategy.Ítem Estructura de un modelo de gestión por procesos en la Agencia de Desarrollo Local de Nariño(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Betancourt Basante, Daniela; Hernández López, Juan David; Giraldo Hernández, Gina MariaÍtem Experiencias del cuerpo en personas con enfermedades autoinmunes(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Suárez Vargas, Alejandra; Manrique Tisnés, HoracioObjetive: the objective of this study was to analyze the bodily changes experienced by people with autoimmune diseases. Nowadays, there are not many studies that show the changes that people with this type of disease experience in their bodies. Method: To analyze the phenomenon, five unstructured interviews were conducted with people diagnosed with gastric autoimmune diseases from a clinic in Medellin city. The data was analyzed using the phenomenological-hermeneutic method, which allowed an in-depth exploration of the patients bodily experiences and an analysis through the interpretation of their meanings. Results: Three categories and six subcategories of analysis were identified, which were integrated using a qualitative framework. Based on this and the theory used for its construction, a proposal was presented on how people with autoimmune diseases experience their body during the course of the disease. Conclusión: A deep insight was given into the body experiences of the five patients at the time of diagnosis, adaptation, and acceptance of the illness. Changes in patients' body experiences before and after the diagnosis of an autoimmune disease were compared, and finally, a qualitative scheme was proposed as a useful tool that served to understand the complexity of body experiences. As a limitation, it is noted that autoimmune diseases can affect different organs, so there is heterogeneity in the diseases, and therefore people may describe their symptoms in different ways or have different levels of awareness of their bodily experiences, making it difficult to establish a unified approach.Ítem Hydraulic and rotor-dynamic interaction for performance evaluation on a Francis turbine(Springer-Verlag France, 2017-08-01) Garcia, M.; Laín, S.; Orrego, S.; Barbosa, J.; Quintero, B.; Garcia, M.; Laín, S.; Orrego, S.; Barbosa, J.; Quintero, B.; Universidad EAFIT. Departamento de Ingeniería Mecánica; Mecatrónica y Diseño de MáquinasThis paper proposes a new methodology to evaluate the technical state of a Francis turbine installed in a hydroelectric plant by coupling computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and rotor-dynamic analysis. CFD simulations predicted the hydraulic performance of the turbine. The obtained field forces, due to the fluid-structure interaction over the blades of the runner, were used as boundary condition in the shaft rotor-dynamic numerical model, which accurately predicted the dynamic behavior of the turbine's shaft. Both numerical models were validated with in situ experimental measurements. The CFD model was validated measuring the pressure fluctuations near the rotor-stator interaction area and the torque and radial force in the shaft using strain gages. The rotor-dynamic model was validated using accelerometers installed over the bearings supporting the shaft. Results from both numerical models were in agreement with experimental measurements and provided a full diagnose of the dynamic working condition of the principal systems of the turbine. Implementation of this methodology can be applied to further identify potential failure and improve future designs.Ítem Hydraulic and rotor-dynamic interaction for performance evaluation on a Francis turbine(Springer-Verlag France, 2017-08-01) Garcia, M.; Laín, S.; Orrego, S.; Barbosa, J.; Quintero, B.; Mecánica AplicadaThis paper proposes a new methodology to evaluate the technical state of a Francis turbine installed in a hydroelectric plant by coupling computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and rotor-dynamic analysis. Departamento de Ciencias; Electromagnetismo Aplicado (Gema)In surface science of functional oxides, titanium dioxide (TiO2) is one of the most investigated crystalline systems either in rutile or anatase phases. In this work commercial TiO2 powders are used to study the required process conditions to obtain TiO2 targets by Atmospheric Plasma Spray (APS) and conventional sintering, with suitable physical and chemical properties to be source material for Plasma Assisted Physical Vapor Deposition (PAPVD) for technological and medical applications. Two three factor Box Behnken experimental designs combined with surface modeling were employed to estimate the influence of spraying parameters (gun current, Ar/H2 ratio and standoff distance) and sintering parameters (heating rate, sintering temperature and holding time) within the targets microstructure (cracks and pores in cross section) and phases composition. The microstructure and composition of APS-deposited targets and sintered ones were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). The lowest defects percentages of the targets manufactured in this work were 0.41 ± 0.30 % for APS-deposited targets and 0.05 ± 0.04 % for the sintered ones using the optimal parameters suggested by the statistical model, which allowed confirming the advantages of sintering process and limitations of APS in terms of microstructural homogeneity, but also of the use of design of experiments in the modeling of systems of many variables when there is not diagnostic equipment of the processes available. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.Ítem Study of the state a Francis turbine(Politechnika Gdanska, Wydzial Oceanotechniki i Okretownictwa, 2013-04-01) Zóltowski, M.; Zóltowski, B.; Castaneda, L.; Universidad EAFIT. Departamento de Ingeniería Mecánica; Estudios en Mantenimiento (GEMI)This paper presents a methodology to evaluate the technical state of a Francis turbine by shaft rotor dynamic simulation. There are several rotor dynamic criteria that define the technical state of a turbo-machine. To feed the shaft rotor dynamic model this delivers the required information to accomplish the technical assessment. The numerical rotor dynamic model uses as input, the field forces obtained by the fluid-solid interaction analysis undertaken over the blades of the runner. The rotor dynamic numerical simulations allow to determinate the record-in-time of the displacements of any point along the shaft. This information is relevant for diagnosis tasks, because it is possible to decompose it spectrally and to estimate the severity of the vibrations. Comparing the results of the numerical model against those obtained from machines that operates under normal conditions, it is possible to determinate the technical state of the turbo-machine. This allows studying the stability of the turbine working on several operation ranges. A Francis turbine is a very complex machine that involves many physical phenomena of different nature. In this way, the hydraulic input forces needed by the rotor dynamic model should not be assumed but calculated directly from the fluid interaction over the turbine structure.Ítem Verificación experimental de la metodología de diagnóstico técnico miltidimensional basada en SVD(Universidad EAFIT, 2007) Arévalo Hurtado, Ángela María; Botero Herrera, Francisco Javier
