dc.description	La propuesta de instalación de la última milla de Ginebra, Valle del Cauca, se construye teniendo en cuenta las necesidades de conectividad histórica de la región, acentuada por la crisis generada por la irrupción del Coronavirus, COVID-19, la cual evidenció un atraso sustancial con respecto a la conectividad en Colombia, incluido el departamento del Valle Del Cauca, particularmente, en el municipio de Ginebra. Una vez evidenciada la necesidad que tiene la población actualmente de acceder a la información vía internet, comunicación telefónica con sus seres queridos y televisión variada, esta propuesta pretende sentar las bases para insertar al municipio (especialmente a su zona rural) en el concierto de regiones conectadas con sistemas de última generación. Este servicio no lo posee la mayoría de la población. La pretensión es identificar y caracterizar los clientes potenciales que requieren de este servicio, siendo este el punto de partida para calcular, cuántos elementos se requieren (Gpon, torres, amplificadores, fibra óptica) y en qué lugares se debe de hacer la extensión e instalación de la fibra. Posteriormente el estudio será presentado como proyecto al sistema general de regalías como un proyecto de impacto social.
dc.description.abstract	The proposal for the installation of the last mile of Ginebra Valle del Cauca is built considering the historical connectivity needs of the region, accentuated by the crisis generated by the outbreak of the Coronavirus, COVID-19, which showed a substantial delay with respect to connectivity in Colombia, the department of Valle del Cauca and, particularly, in the municipality of Ginebra. Having evidenced the need that the population currently must access information via the internet, telephone communication with their loved ones and varied television, this proposal aims to lay the foundations for inserting the municipality (especially its rural area) in the concert of connected regions with state-of-the-art systems. This service does not have most of the population. The aim is to identify and characterize the potential clients that require this service, this being the starting point for calculating how many elements is required (Gpon, towers, amplifiers, fiber optics) and in which places the extension and installation should be done. of the fiber. Subsequently, the study will be presented as a project to the general royalty system as a social impact project.
