dc.descriptionTras el desarrollo de la presente investigación, se logró identificar algunas conclusiones claves sobre la industria Fintech y sobre su impacto sobre la economía del país. Entre estas se destaca un factor de disrupción que se convirtió en elemento común entre estos startups, las cuales están comenzando a hacerse notar por los bancos tradicionales. Según la opinión colectiva de los expertos se espera que una de las principales variables afectadas sea la tasa activa, la cual se vería reducida por la competencia entre las empresas y los bajos costos asociados a las Fintech. Esto impactaría positivamente el consumo y por tanto el crecimiento económico del país. Adicionalmente, estaríamos ante un posible escenario de convivencia, donde los bancos se apalancarían de los modelos de negocio innovadores de estos emprendimientos y sus palancas de valor, por medio de figuras como adquisiciones, fusiones, joint venture, entre otros. Asimismo, los expertos aseguran que principalmente se lograría una mayor bancarización de los colombianos, por el enfoque de las Fintech en la población que actualmente está por fuera del sistema, lo cual resultaría en mayor formalidad y un mayor recaudo fiscal.spa
dc.description.abstractThe present investigation permitted to identify some key conclusions about the Fintech industry and its impact on the Colombian economy. Within the investigation, disruption became a common factor among these startups, which are beginning to be noticed by traditional banks. According to the collective opinion of the experts interviewed, it is expected that one of the main variables affected by the fintech industry will be the active interest rate, which would be reduced by the competition between the companies and the low costs associated with Fintechs. This would positively impact consumption and therefore the economic growth of the country. Additionally, we would be facing a possible scenario of coexistence and mutualism, where banks would leverage the innovative business models of these ventures and their value levers, through figures such as acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, amongst others. Likewise, the experts assure that a greater banking penetration within the financial sector would be achieved, due to the Fintech's focus on the population that is currently outside the system, which would result in greater formality and greater tax collection.spa
