dc.description.abstractMientras este planeta gira sobre sí mismo como un bailarín en la punta del pie, a una velocidad de quinientos metros por segundo, yo sigo aquí petrificada frente a una hoja que intenta nacer. Hoy, cuando decido detenerme a observarla, siento como si su vestido se le hubiera quedado enredado entre los pliegues. Me atrevo a meter los dedos e intentar aflojarlo, sin preguntarme si estoy interrumpiendo su tiempo, que no es el mío. Llevo varios días observándola.
dc.description.abstractAs this planet spins on its axis like a dancer on the tips of her toes, at a speed of five hundred meters per second, I remain here, transfixed, staring at a leaf trying to emerge. Today, when I decide to pause and watch it, I feel as if its “dress” had become tangled in the folds. I dare to slip my fingers in and try to loosen it, without wondering if I’m interrupting its time—which isn’t mine. I’ve been watching it for several days now
