El sector comercial de "El Hueco" en el centro de Medellín es un laboratorio vivo de innovación social que invita a repensar la historia empresarial latinoamericana desde sus márgenes. La historia de "El Hueco" propone un paradigma alternativo en la historia organizacional al desplazar el foco de atención hacia los actores populares y los entornos informales. Al reivindicar el capital social como motor de desarrollo, se desmantela la creencia de que solo las grandes élites industriales generan crecimiento económico.
The commercial sector of "El Hueco" in downtown Medellín is a living laboratory of social innovation that invites us to rethink Latin American business history from its margins. The story of "El Hueco" proposes an alternative paradigm in organizational history by shifting the focus to grassroots actors and informal settings. By reclaiming social capital as an engine of development, it dismantles the belief that only large industrial elites generate economic growth.
