    Diseño de una oficina de gestión de proyectos (PMO) para la organización de ISA Intercolombia S.A. E.S.P

    The research is focused on the design of a Project Management Office (PMO, for its acronym in English Project Management Office). For the Project Management of the ISA INTERCOLOMBIA organization, with the purpose of generating new strategies in the performance of project management, monitoring of suppliers, and consolidation of contracts for the electric power sector. This is aligned with the corporate strategy of Sustainable Value 2030, which allows transcending time to generate economic value, not only for shareholders but also as a positive impact on the social and environmental aspects. Initially, a diagnosis of the maturity model is proposed that allows identifying those priority processes for the development of organizational capacities in project management. Thus allowing to satisfy the metrics of organizational structure and its current state, to identify what type of PMO the organization requires in order to fulfill its objectives. For this, applied research is required, which reviews the information of the organization, questionnaires and interviews are carried out with the collaborators to obtain information, and later, design the Project Management Office that articulates the business model of the organization. This PMO will start from the knowledge acquired in the program, articles, and authors of the knowledge areas of the PMBOK Guide, under international standards for its adaptation. Being the pertinent case, provide tools of good practices, for the management of projects of the organization, serving the purpose of efficiency of Grupo Empresarial ISA.

    Herramienta de selección de las guías de dirección de proyectos PMBOK y SBOK para los proyectos de una empresa proveedora de servicios de tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) en Colombia

    This degree work arises from the need of the project area of a company providing information and communications technology (ICT) services in Colombia, which not only wants to execute their projects under the PMBOK v6 guide, as they do nowadays, but also under the guidance of SBOK v3. Therefore, the result of the execution of this degree work consists of generating a selection tool that makes the suggestion of which of these two previous guides should be used for each of the company's projects, depending on the characteristics of the project and looking to maximize the value delivered during the life cycle of the project. The selection tool will be tailored to the company on which the degree work is developed, so if it is desired to use it for another type of company, it will be necessary to make adjustments on the selection tool.

    Modelo de gestión de proyectos de TI basado en enfoques híbridos aplicado a sistemas de ejecución de manufactura para la industria cementera

    This paper proposes an IT project management model based on the sixth edition PMBOK guide and the framework for agile projects Scrum. The model was built based on an existing bibliographic review, as well as surveys conducted by experts within Cementos Argos, which were responsible for giving specific guidelines and validating the proposed model. The results obtained in the validation of the variables resulted in a general acceptance of the hybrid model designed, demonstrating the need for a paradigm shift towards the use of agile practices, in an organization that has historically managed its projects sequentially under predictive models.

    Nueva plataforma de experiencias de talento - Talento EAFIT

    This document presents the project for the search, evaluation, selection, and implementation of a digital platform for talent experiences, developed by Universidad EAFIT, to transform how formative experiences for students and graduates are managed. The proposal arose from the need to integrate, digitize, and strengthen processes related to professional internships, business immersions, the alumni community, and philanthropy and impact investment initiatives, by articulating various institutional departments through a centralized technological solution. The main objective of the project was to select and implement a SaaS platform that met criteria of functionality, scalability, usability, and alignment with the university’s digital ecosystem. A qualitative, descriptive, and applied methodology was employed, structured according to the guidelines of the PMBOK 6th Edition standard from the Project Management Institute (PMI), with emphasis on the planning process group. Planning components such as scope, schedule, quality, resources, communications, procurement, and risk management were developed, integrating tools such as the WBS, schedules, evaluation matrices, quality plan, and risk register. This process not only enabled the selection and implementation of the appropriate technological solution, but also helped establish mechanisms for interdepartmental coordination, quality control, and operational sustainability. As a result, a planning culture based on best practices was strengthened, and a methodological pathway was generated that can be replicated in other institutional digital transformation projects within the higher education sector.

    Propuesta de cuadro de mando financiero para el control de costos del proyecto Pequeña Central Hidroeléctrica (PCH) Patico II

    Across a qualitative methodology, in this study there is proposed a balanced score as essential tool that the directors and managers of infrastructure project “Pequeña Central Hidroeléctrica (PCH) Patico II” located in the department of the Cauca, manage to exercise a suitable costs control and design or restate investment strategies opportunely during the construction of the PCH. With the bibliographical review and the consultation to engineers with experience in direction and management of infrastructure project of similar quantity, type of projects establishes the excellent and necessary financial indicators during the process of control and management of costs of this one. So that, on having grouped them with the indicators of the good practices of the project management (pmbok) in a picture of financial control, one manages to obtain the tool that the project needs for its suitable direction.
