Publicación Decisiones que construyen futuro : promoción del ahorro en empleados del sector financiero(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Bedoya Agudelo, María Fernanda; Valdés Duque, Natalia; Ramirez García, Maria IsabelPublicación Impacto de los Nudges argumentativos enfocados a cambiar la disposición de compra de vehículos eléctricos en los conductores del Valle de Aburrá(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Mejía Gómez, Daniel; Sánchez Vélez, Kelin Daniela; Silva Jaramillo, SantiagoThe Valle de Aburrá region is one of the most polluted areas in Colombia, so it is urgent to accelerate the decarbonization of individual transport, promoting the transition to electric vehicles. Despite having a regulatory framework since 2019 that encourages the change to this technology, adoption has been slow, especially considering the high cost of these vehicles for the average Colombian population. People with greater purchasing power, despite having the economic capacity to make the change, are not making it at the expected speed because there are a variety of erroneous arguments produced by ignorance of this technology, which means that they do not consider it when looking for their next vehicle. The proposed intervention follows the EAST methodological framework, and aims to evaluate, through an experimental design, whether by refuting existing thinking using argumentative nudges around savings, the environment and autonomy, it is possible to modify the willingness to purchase electric vehicles among drivers of medium-high and high socioeconomic status in the Valle de Aburrá and thus facilitate the adoption of this new technology.Publicación Incentivar la participación de los hombres, en el trabajo doméstico y de cuidado no remunerado, a través de acciones tipo Nudge y Boost en las normas sociales de género, para disminuir las horas que dedican las mujeres a este tipo de trabajo en Yolombó, Antioquia(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Rengifo Girón, César Augusto; Martínez Londoño, JulianaTraditional gender stereotypes have a great impact on people's lives, dictating the expected behavior of each one depending on their sex and as pa rt of the construction of gender; As a rule, these stereotypes assign men and women the roles of provider and caregiver respectively, delegating Unpaid Domestic and Care Work (TDYCNR) to women, resulting in time shortages and greater economic dependence for them. Considering the above, this study aimed to encourage the participation of men in the TDYCNR, through boost-type actions and the use of nudges both in person and digitally. A non-experimental and qualitative design intervention based on the methodology of social norms was carried out with a group of men living in the village of La Floresta in the municipality of Yolombó, in the department of Antioquia, Colombia. The study carried out a theoretical conceptualization of the use of time by gender, gender stereotypes and irruptions of gender equality. The intervention was articulated with the Vamos Tejiendo project of the NGO Pact Colombia, who provided logistical and conceptual support through descriptive exploratory studies carried out within the community to intervene. The results obtained allow us to conclude that, once the intervention was completed, favorable receptivity was identified on the part of the men towards the messages, a desire to participate in more boost-type activities and statements indicating that the tools that were shared with them encouraged a replication of the message of equity in TDYCNR in the community.Publicación Incidentes viales en Medellín : una propuesta para su reducción desde la economía conductual(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Algarra Alzate, Melissa; Wachter Espitia, Johann EduardoThis investigation aims to propose a public action as an instrument based on 'nudges' as an alternative that contributes to mitigating the public problem of injuries and deaths due to road incidents on Avenue 64C (North highway, Medellín). A proposed semantic change is that it considers injuries and deaths on the road as incidents, and not as accidents since the former are understood as a public health problem and are not generated accidentally, but their causes correspond to human errors, failures in road infrastructure, speeding, etc. Given the above, a review of literature and case study was carried out to determine connections between the behavioral sciences, public policy and road safety. Finally, a series of recommendations are presented for the public interventions specifically in Avenue 64 C (North highway, Medellín), and some conclusions of set research. With this, the knowledge and application of the new national code for waste disposal from the source was promoted, in which the Government, under resolution 2148 of 2019, stipulates that waste must be separated into white containers (recyclable), black (non- usable) and green (usable organics). The intervention was developed in two phases, the first focused on education and the second on altruism. In both phases, actions framed in the EAST and Mindspace models were carried out, reducing friction for the performance of the objective behavior. Two surveys were carried out, at the beginning and at the end, and also six measurements, the first before the start of the intervention as a baseline, the second at the end of Phase 1, three measurements during Phase 2 and the sixth measurement at the end of this Phase; through said monitoring, the obtained results indicated that officials were motivated to carry out the objective behavior and that barriers such as ignorance were eliminated. In addition to the previous information, a dynamic norm that promoted behavior change among officials was generated; it occurred when they observed that their colleagues were carrying out the promoted action. Regarding the decrease in the level of poorly separated waste, improvements that varied with the weeks in which the intervention was carried out were obtained, although the baseline was not exceeded for various reasons, the significant improvement that was observed stands out in the case of the white container, which shows the intention to change to carry out a correct disposal of recyclable waste.Publicación Intervención comportamental para moderar el uso del celular en clase por parte de estudiantes de una universidad de la ciudad de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Álvarez Lince, Camilo; Peralta Vélez, Ana MaríaPublicación Intervención comportamental tipo MINDSPACE para fortalecer las capacidades de comunicación efectiva en equipos técnicos : caso Odinsa(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Álvarez Galindo, Jimmy Mauricio; Arroyave Velásquez, Viviana; López Aguirre, Lina María; Úsuga Arcila, Gloria Carolina; OdinsaThis paper presents a behavioral intervention based on Nudges and Boost to improve the effective communication of Odinsa's technical teams. Using MINDSPACE and the Boost framework, a mixed approach was applied. The results show significant improvements in intonation, rhythm, posture and other aspects (Pretest: 19.19, Posttest: 24.75, p=0.000). The effect size (d=-2.454) confirms the relevance of the change, validated by parametric tests.
