Ítem Análisis de una técnica cuantitativa en el sector fintech colombiano para la evaluación de inversión(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Balmaceda Mosquera, Edwin Alberto; Durango Gutiérrez, María PatriciaThis research aims to structure a model to assess startups, with a focus on Financial Technology or FinTech, which refers to the use of technology and innovation, applied to the transformation of traditional financial services and the creation of new experiences for finance at the service of consumers. These business initiatives play an important role in the country's economy, but they have substantial differences with traditional companies, because they are technology-based companies, and therefore have exponential growth. The valuation of these companies differs in relation to other ventures or traditional companies. The different methods used to prepare valuations are applicable to companies with a track record, which have historical financial information; but for companies in the early stage of financing (Start Up) or ventures, it is necessary to use other types of methods that are less dependent on historical information. To do this, we have made an analysis of the industry and the macro-environment through techniques such as PESTEL analysis and Porter's five forces which showed that it is indeed a market with significant growth potential. In addition, an analysis of the demand has been made using data collection techniques (surveys) that has allowed us to define and understand in a better way the target audience to be reached through the supply of services of the venture. The analysis and interpretation of the fieldwork results have been the fundamental basis for the creation and validation of the value proposition and subsequently the projection of the venture's financial model.Ítem Viabilidad Financiera de una PCH en Colombia usando el modelo de valoración de activos CAPM(2019) Torres Martínez, Andrés Santiago; Trespalacios Carrasquilla, AlfredoApply a financial investment model in a Small Hydroelectric Power Plant PCH, to be implemented in a company dedicated to the design and construction of infrastructure projects. It seeks to support the decision making of investment in this project, using structured financing tools, Project Finance, which allows to define the appropriate capital structure of the project, the ability of cash flows to serve debt as a starting point for Determine the viability for shareholders and lenders. The analysis is based on an estimate of the income, costs and investment required according to the installed capacity, civil works, supply and assembly of electromechanical equipment, tax benefit of the debt and operating costs, to finally determine the cash flows that guarantee the expected return. The model used presents awareness in different scenarios of energy prices in the Colombian electricity market and sale of energy through contracts to ultimately assess the project through the CAPM model, to determine the viability of the project for investors.
