There, music becomes a peace-building tool not only thanks to its expressive and artistic dimension, but also to the proper management of the pedagogical situations in which one learns. This article is a reflective essay based on an exploratory research on the music-social programs of the Batuta Foundation in Colombia and Démos in France. In these cases, music education for peace can be considered as a process of cultural democratization, in which creativity, group dynamics and territorial social inclusion are developed, and where planning and pedagogical innovation are essential. This social impact through music was located in the peripheries of the municipality of San Juan de Pasto called corregimientos or paths where there is direct benefit for children and youth in the community. Therefore, he identified as object of study the Association Band Guadalupana School of Music of the Catambuco district, territory located in the municipal seat of San Juan de Pasto. A case study sought to describe and analyze the impact of their musical processes on social transformation and their significant changes in this region. This investigation included three stages of execution carried out in the months of January and February of the year 2019 respectively. The aforementioned identified the importance of community action of music as a social transformer for peace, based on the construction of human values in the formation of being as a foundation, which arises in communities in the rural area. The latter is identified as a research problem necessary to contextualize the linkage of this type of musical processes that respond to specific needs of their own context, which interacts with socio-cultural dynamics constantly being thus a fundamental aspect and valuable contribution for Colombia in the construction of Peace and social transformation through music from the rural area. This social impact influenced the affective dynamics of the community benefited at personal, family and interpersonal relationships. This systematic review aimed to analyze such practices and determine whether this promise is genuine or merely a conception. Methods: Following PRISMA standards for systematic reviews, the influence of musical stimulation on children's development was evaluated by reviewing trials, articles, and existing studies in the Scopus, National Library of Medicine, and Scielo databases. Out of 24 studies found, only 6 met the inclusion criteria. All studies considered in this review concluded that both music and musical stimulation influence various spheres of children's cognitive development. For this purpose, it was necessary to carry out a series of interviews in which members participating, directly and indirectly, were included. Moreover, to analyze it, I proposed four categories: interaction in the environment, music as possibility and opportunity, music as a construction of identity and music as expression.
