This analysis will locate itself inside Colombia jurisdiction and order of laws, specifically bill 890 of 2004, bill 1142 of 2007 and bill 1453 of 2011 which modifies the general criminal law bill, 906 of 2004. The method used was hermeneutics, which is the art of understanding and / or interpreting discourses in order to carry out a monographic study on the concepts mentioned. The main findings are the paradox between freedom and decision making, the different senses in which the process of freedom and the interrelation that can be generated between the three concepts mentioned can be understood and experienced.
