    The present work exposes the design of a strategic direction model, to achieve the company's organizational of the company Smart Plastic & Bricks S.A.S, located in the city of Medellin and recently created; whose main objective is the innovative production or industrial plastic implements, made from recyclable plastic. The creation of the company arises from the environmental problem by the daily accumulation worldwide of million tons of unusable plastic, which in turn are, big environmental polluters and also for the conviction of seeing in this type of industry a great opportunity to obtain monetary income. The development of this work arises when observing the absence of a strategic plan at the organizational level and the lack of a business vision and projection with clear short and long - term objectives. The methodology used was based on a detailed analysis of all the information necessary for the study, obtained from several tools proposed by several expert authors on the subject, and according to the results obtained two business strategies and the action plan to carry them out were proposed, with their respective indicators and initiatives.

    Diseño de una oficina de gestión de proyectos (PMO) para la empresa laboratorios Medifarma S.A.S.

    The purpose of this study was to design a Project Management Office (PMO) for the pharmaceutical company LABORATORIOS MEDIFARMA S.A.S. This included determining methodologies, creating an implementation plan, and evaluating the achievement of objectives through indicators. To achieve this, case study analyses, expert interviews, and surveys were conducted to gather quantitative and qualitative data. The study concluded with the selection of the best type and model of PMO to meet the company’s needs. The results of this work include the organizational diagram, action methodology, schedule, and budget, among other key elements for the effective implementation of the PMO.

    Today, a phenomenon is evident at a global level in companies where IT specialists are increasingly less stable in their jobs. Due to their knowledge, experience, capabilities and skills, it is easy for them to change jobs whenever they consider it necessary, usually when their current job does not meet their expectations. One of the main factors for the high turnover of IT staff in organizations is salary compensation combined with benefits such as remote work, work-life balance, professional growth, training, among others. High staff turnover affects the productivity of companies. Additionally, recruiters are in constant competition to make very tentative offers to IT specialists to get them to quit their current jobs, since it is difficult to find replacements who are unemployed, hiring can take months and has high costs, including training, project delays, and the challenge of keeping the new hire happy so that they stay in the company for at least a year and the investment can be justified. Now Optics is an American company that uses telemedicine in one of its business lines. This implies having a large IT department, made up of engineers from different countries. Therefore, it seeks to identify strategies that help IT leaders and human management to keep these specialists stable and committed to their work.

    Modelo de negocio de una empresa de telemedicina en Colombia con enfoque cardiovascular para pacientes internacionales

    This work presents the development of a telemedicine business model with a cardiovascular focus, whose central objective is the formulation of a viable and differentiated business strategy for providing medical services from Colombia to international patients. To this end, the study employs primary sources (surveys of international patients and interviews with experts in medical tourism and digital health) and secondary sources (academic literature, reports from the WHO, PAHO, ProColombia, and market studies), as well as strategic tools (PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, SWOT–TOWS), business models (Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas), and process management (BPM) to design and validate a value proposition aimed at delivering human-centered, bilingual care with remote follow-up. The long-term goal is to integrate a multidisciplinary approach to cardiovascular disease. Overall, the research demonstrates that specialization in cardiovascular health, emphasis on user experience, and the use of advanced technologies constitute sustainable competitive advantages. It concludes that the platform can position itself in a "blue ocean" by prioritizing patient interaction and loyalty, supported by partnerships with insurance companies and compliance with international regulations.

    This study raises the importance of knowledge management and technology in defining the business strategy of SMEs in Colombia, since they improve competitiveness and ensure the sustainability of the company. Supported in the diagnosis made to a group of companies through the Chamber of Commerce of Aburrá Sur, the different needs at the business strategic level are analyzed, in order to propose a model of knowledge and technology transfer that allows generating or modifying the business strategy in SMEs.

For this, a company diagnosis including business model construction was made followed by the external and internal environment analysis and then, based on the results, the value proposal and the business and functional strategies together with the balanced score card were set.
