Based on a literature review and a comparative analysis of thirteen national and international certification standards, a diagnostic questionnaire was designed comprising five key dimensions: governance and sustainable strategy, environmental management and resource efficiency, human capital and labor practices, social impact and community engagement, and innovation and shared value creation. The questionnaire enables organizations to identify their maturity level in sustainability, assess organizational strengths and gaps, and receive specific technical recommendations per dimension. The research is grounded in a robust conceptual framework that interconnects corporate social responsibility, sustainability, social enterprise, and shared value creation, demonstrating their mutual reinforcement and relevance to the Colombian business context. As a result, the study delivers a practical, flexible, and context-sensitive tool applicable to both large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises. This proposal aims to bridge the gap between sustainability discourse and its real-world implementation, contributing to the transformation of traditional business models into more inclusive, responsible, and resilient enterprises.Publicación Documento preliminar para la evaluación de impacto de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Grisales Agudelo, Natalia Cristina Patricia; Henao Zuluaga, Tatiana; López Ballesteros, Natalia; Vargas Sáenz, Mario EnriquePublicación Ecobanco : diseño de una empresa social de economía circular(Universidad EAFIT, 2018) Castrillón García, Óscar Julio; Tejada Marín, Leidy Carolina; Castro Castaño, Robinson Vladimir; Vargas Sáenz, Mario EnriquePublicación Empresa Biocultural : lineamientos para la creación de empresas sociales desde la restauración ecológica en el Piedemonte Llanero(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Maldonado Pino, Julian Alejandro; Santiago Rua, Santiago; Vargas Sáenz, Mario Enrique; Roldán Ortiz, Ana MaríaPublicación Empresa social de economía circular de Rionegro(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Rivas Urrea, Jorge Humberto; Torres Valencia, Daniela; Vargas Sáenz, Mario EnriquePublicación Factores claves de éxito para empresas sociales creadas por mujeres y que se dedican a contribuir al empoderamiento y la autonomía económica de las mujeres en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Galvis Muñoz, Andrea; Piedrahíta Gutiérrez, María ClaraThe present research, through its qualitative approach, aims to determine the key factors for the success of social enterprises created by women that contribute to the empowerment and economic autonomy of women in Colombia. Through a case study with a qualitative approach, its trajectory is reconstructed and the tensions experienced in this process are interpreted. The analytical framework is based on the Theory of Organized Action (TAO), whose categories - Identity, Opposition and Totality - allow us to understand how this organization negotiates its community mission in facing institutional and market demands. The methodology combines documentary analysis of public policies, internal organizational materials and semi-structured interviews with key members. This approach made it possible to reconstruct the stages of organizational development, identifying breaking points and highlighting structural tensions that shape the transition towards hybrid forms of social and economic management. The findings show that RED entre Montañas did not passively adopt the institutional model of social enterprise but reinterpreted it from its territorial identity. The research concludes that the tensions experienced are not obstacles, but constitutive elements of an organized action that seeks to affirm its collective subjectivity. The study provides theoretical and practical tools to understand similar processes in other rural territories and invites people to rethink public policies to support youth organizations.
