Ítem El aire no es el mismo, si no es en la tierra de uno : un análisis desde las voces, relatos y narraciones de los habitantes de la serranía de San Lucas (El Bagre,Antioquia)(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Tobón Parra, Jorge William; Arango Restrepo, María RocíoThe objective of this article is to analyze the construction of the narrative identity of the multicultural communities that inhabit the Serranía de San Lucas, El Bagre Antioquia. The research has a theoretical foundation from the concept of cultural hybridization and multiculturalism of Nestor García Canclini; for the concept of narrative identity, the postulates of Paul Ricoeur were reviewed. It is intended from the narratives of the communities, to verify how identity is built through the story; because through the narratives, the subject organizes his ideas taking into account the vision of himself and others, expressing stories, naming characters, settings, actions and plots related to the social context. The San Lucas Mountain range is a portion of territory where the inhabitants weave their stories, their culture that will not be possible without history, without myths and without actors. This article aims to show a community and a territory of people of diverse ethnic and cultural origins, with unique visions of the forest they inhabit as a space for their cosmogonies, stories, and traditions. People of the forest, of whom little is known about their identities, and understand by this not their names, not their certificates, not their debts, but rather their places of enunciation, their speeches, their stories, their history, their desires, their possible modes of existence.Ítem Análisis de las perspectivas cosmopolitas sobre la interculturalidad: UNAOC y las alternativas hacia la comprensión de las dificultades para la convivencia global(Universidad EAFIT, 2016) Bustamante Zapata, Luís Fernando; Cuartas Restrepo, Juan ManuelÍtem Australia: a culture with fortune(Universidad EAFIT, 2019-07-02) Peláez Peinado, Valentina; Universidad EAFITÍtem Caracterización de la cultura de riesgo en entidades públicas alcaldías del departamento de Risaralda – Colombia. Año 2024(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Jiménez Zuluaga, Diana Patricia; Mazuera Castillo, Ana Milena; Guerrero, Jorge HarleyThe main objective of this research project is to characterize the risk culture in public entities (mayors) in the department of Risaralda. The above is with the objective of proposing improvement actions based on the results obtained in the characterization process. Being what has been presented so far, a starting point, a theoretical framework is shown that contains various postulates about risk culture in public entities and the process of characterization of this aspect in this type of organizations. The methodology is presented as qualitative research in conjunction with an exploratory ˗ descriptive base that helped the use of instruments for collecting information such as the semi-structured interview and the documentary review. The results allowed us to establish that although the different public entities carry out actions for risk management under the framework of Colombian regulations, related to fields such as knowledge about risk management regulations, perception of the importance of risk culture, participation in training programs on risk management, attitudes towards the identification and management of risks in everyday life, previous experiences of confronting and managing risk situations, level of compliance with established security protocols, internal communication and external on risk situations, availability of resources for risk management, risk evaluation and monitoring processes, culture of prevention and response to emergencies, this is not enough to consider that in these municipalities there is an established risk culture. Due to the above, actions and improvements were proposed to strengthen this culture in these organizations.Ítem Caracterización del comportamiento de los millennials: una revisión de literatura(Universidad EAFIT, 2018) Gutiérrez Concha, Clara Patricia; Posada Márquez, Laura Patricia; Gonzáles-Miranda, Diego RenéThis review aims to characterize the behavior of millennials in the last ten years in a global, latin american, and national context -- To accomplish this, a literary review was found necessary based on the results found in books, essays, research results, academic articles, and point of view articles -- The results demonstrate the scarcity of information in the fields of religion, politics, economics, and socioeconomic status -- The findings are presented from predetermined categories framed in two dimensions: social and organizational -- Additionally, final reflections are presented about this generation and questions arise as to how they relate to organizations -- The review concludes with some limitations that were encountered in the study, and an evaluation of the findings presented in this reviewÍtem Condiciones que caracterizan a los socios estratégicos que logran la incorporación del agilismo como atributo cultural en las empresas(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Quintero González, Juliana Cristina; Sanín Posada, AlejandroOrganizations are going through an accelerated increase in uncertainty and the speed of change, so failure to adapt quickly can mean their disappearance (Gómez-Mejía et al., 2007), which requires an agile incorporation of practices and attributes that favor it. Among the skills that favor the adaptation of organizations we find the ability to respond, anticipate, efficiency, flexibility, speed, innovation, knowledge management and agility (Charbonnier-Voirin, 2011). The latter has gained strength in recent years, becoming a central element in business strategies (Ganguly et al., 2009). Agility becomes a competitive advantage, since it allows the organization to be among the first to detect threats and opportunities in markets that are constantly changing (Dyer & Shafer, 1998). Now, understanding the strategic nature of agility, the concern of how to incorporate it into an organization arises. And one possible path is to understand it more as a cultural attribute than as a strategy, as Drucker (1999) said so well when he stated “Culture eats strategy for breakfast”. If we work along this line, that is, from the creation of a culture that facilitates and incorporates agility as an attribute, we can then use and take advantage of the cultural management mechanisms that have been documented in the literature for the incorporation and development of other attributes. cultural, Cameron and Quinn (1999), point out that human management actions must support the culture desired by the company, as well as mention that organizational success depends largely on how the organizational culture is compatible with the demands of the environment. Within the different mechanisms to ensure that a desired attribute is incorporated into the culture of organizations, they often use mentors to promote it (Cameron & Quinn, 2011). These are people who are delegated the responsibility of accompanying the teams and the organization in the creation of routines and habits that sustain the attribute, they must also sensitize people by transmitting and giving solidity to the beliefs that give basis to such attribute. Sometimes this figure in companies is called a Strategic Partner, according to the literature, this is the one who collaborates in the design of the corporate strategy, participating in its definition and aligning its practices with the business objectives of a company. In addition, it guides human management systems and sets their priorities. Your mission should be to redefine the value proposition of your area and enhance its impact, in order to achieve the expected results (Ulrich, 1997). Thus, the figure of the Strategic Partner becomes central to the success of the business, but from a cultural management perspective.Ítem El conocimiento cultural de las emociones en los Encuentros de servicio(Universidad EAFIT, 2015) Uribe Saldarriaga, Carlos Mario; Muñoz Molina, YáromirEl propósito de esta disertación es la identificación del conocimiento cultural que los miembros de una comunidad tienen sobre las emociones en el encuentro de servicio, determinando las categorías que componen dicho conocimiento, su contenido y posibles relaciones, con el fin de completar la comprensión sobre la influencia que la cultura tiene en las emociones que se experimentan en las interacciones de servicio -- En el mercadeo de servicios la influencia de la cultura en las emociones de los participantes en este tipo de interacciones ha sido estudiado fundamentalmente desde el punto de vista de las representaciones prescriptiva, esto es, desde las prescripciones que la cultura impone sobre la expresión de las emociones (reglas de exhibición) en las interacciones en términos de su des-intensificación, sobre-intensificación, neutralización y enmascaramiento, dejando de lado las representaciones descriptivas o los significados de las emociones que se construyen culturalmente en el lenguaje y que guían la percepción y actuación, en términos afectivos, de los participantes en las interacciones -- Los significados que se construyen culturalmente en el lenguaje, están presentes y disponibles en la mente de cada uno de los miembros de una sociedad en la forma de un conocimiento cultural, que, en términos cognitivos, está organizado en forma de un modelo mental (modelo cultural), lo cual facilita su almacenamiento, recuperación y uso -- Las categorías mentales que hacen parte de un modelo cultural se conocen como dominios culturales y éstos están constituidos por conjuntos de ítems (palabras, conceptos o frases) que el grupo social considera que están relacionados y son del mismo tipo -- Por lo tanto, la identificación del conocimiento cultural que los miembros de una comunidad tienen sobre las emociones en el encuentro de servicio, que se realizó en esta tesis, incluyó identificar los diferentes dominios culturales que hacen parte de éste conocimiento (modelo cultural), generar sus contenidos (ítems) y relacionar los dominios y sus contenidos entre sí -- Contenido, ítems y relaciones fueron sintetizados e ilustrados en una serie de modelos (explicativos) que describen la vivencia emocional de los participantes en la interacción de servicio desde la cultura -- Los dominios culturales, tanto en su identificación como en la descripción de sus contenidos, fueron extraídos con técnicas de generación de datos cualitativos mediante listas libres sucesivas en entrevistas a informantes de las diferentes subpoblaciones (empleados de contacto y usuarios de servicios) que participan en los encuentros de servicio, primero del tipo etnográfico no estructuradas y/o semiestructuradas para la exploración e identificación de los posibles dominios culturales existentes y segundo las de tipo estructurado para la descripción del contenido de los dominios -- El escenario contextual (cultura) donde se realizó la investigación y donde se reclutó los participantes fue el Valle de Aburrá, en el departamento de Antioquia en Colombia -- Las personas que allí viven son consideradas como pertenecientes a lo que se considera como la región y/o cultura Paisa -- Los resultados de la tesis se consideran valiosos en la medida que no sólo se cumplieron los objetivos propuestos, al describir el modelo cultural de la emociones en el encuentro de servicio, identificando los dominios culturales, generando su contenido y sintetizando los hallazgos en una serie de modelos explicativos, sino también porque los resultados obtenidos permiten hacer un aporte importante al campo de las emociones en general y del mercadeo de servicios en particular, tanto a nivel teórico y metodológico, como práctico, por sus claras aplicaciones gerenciales al diseño, gestión y mejoramiento de los procesos de servicio con el fin de lograr la satisfacción emocional de los participantes en las interacciones de servicio, empleados de contacto y usuariosÍtem La cultura como función determina las dificultades en lo intercultural(Universidad EAFIT, 15/12/2008) Juan Pablo Román Calderón; Universidad EAFITÍtem Cultural dimensions and entrepreneurial performance interaction in small and medium enterprises in Zimbabwe(Universidad EAFIT, 12/12/2018) Watson Munyanyi. Agile methodologies offer a flexible and adaptive approach to meet these challenges, fostering customer centric project execution. However, the successful adoption of agile frameworks in startups requires careful consideration of agile organizational maturity. Without this, the premature or superficial implementation of agile practices can lead to operational dysfunctions, resource waste, and a loss of confidence in the methodologies. This study aims to develop an agile maturity evaluation model specifically designed for startups. Through a comprehensive review of existing agile maturity models, literature and surveys conducted with experts in the field, the research identifies key challenges and advantages in the adoption of agile frameworks within startups. The proposed model evaluates ten critical dimensions, including governance, cultural change, and the adaptation of agile practices, offering a detailed roadmap for continuous improvement. This model serves as both a diagnostic tool and a practical guide to help startups successfully enhance their agility and foster sustained innovation.Ítem Devouring the Hallyu: Development, Hybridization, and Latin American Cannibalism(Universidad EAFIT, 2019-07-02) Arriojas, Claudio; Valentina Réquiz, Indira; Universidad Católica Andrés Bello; Universidad Central de VenezuelaÍtem Diagnóstico y diseño de una oficina de gestión de proyectos (PMO) para Cadena S.A.(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Rangel Morales, Ruddy María; Mesa Vanegas, Julián David; Díez Benjumea, Jhon MiguelÍtem Dobles Sentidos y Connotaciones en el Discurso Administrativo: Dispositivos de Poder en las Organizaciones(Universidad EAFIT, 01/12/2004) Francisco López Gallego; Universidad EAFITÍtem Estado del arte en el estudio de la negociación internacional(Universidad EAFIT, 2007) Calle Saldarriaga, María Alejandra; Toro Jaramillo, Iván DaríoÍtem Estudio de prefactibilidad para la creación de un e-commerce de tés especializados en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Mesa Ballesteros, Heidy; Guerrero Latorre, Jorge HarleyElectronic commerce, also known as e-Commerce, has experienced a significant boom in Colombia in recent years, especially since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The country has registered an increase in internet penetration and a growing interest in online shopping. One of the sectors that has experienced sustained growth in this area is tea e-Commerce, a drink that has become one of the favorites of Colombians. In this document, the reader will be able to learn about the behavior of public investment in Incentives for Artistic Creation - ECA, in the established evaluation period, as well as the way in which the subregions of the department have participated in these competitive funds, and the artistic areas and modalities that register greater or lesser participation. Among the important results established by the evaluation carried out, the trust that both beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries have in this public policy instrument, and the contribution of the ECA`s as a tool to counter corruption stand out. Secondly, there is evidence of a breach in the allocation of the public investment items that must be executed by the Institute of Culture and Heritage of Antioquia - ICPA, according to Ordinance 012 of 2015, and the insufficiency in the administrative capacity and institutional architecture to execute adequately RCTs. Finally, this document proposes some recommendations for the improvement of public policy, in relation to the need for a general review, framed in the first ten (10) years of its implementation, and a focus on actions aimed at overcoming the deficiencies found.Ítem Factores culturales locales que influyen sobre las prácticas de gestión humana en el sector bananero del Urabá antioqueño(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Agudelo Gómez, Viviana Patricia; Jojoa Castro, Mery Yamile; Macias Serna, María IsabelThe main objective of the research presented is to identify how local cultural factors influence the Human Management practices of the banana companies present in Urabá Antioquia. The context where the study was developed is a geographical area of Colombia, characterized by a high agricultural dedication, specifically the production of export-type bananas, which contributes a greater percentage to the economy of the region and the country. Hence, the presence of a population native to the territory and that from other sectors of the country, as well as historical factors of violence, displacement, illegal occupation of the territory; give rise to the configuration of a considerable cultural breadth to take it into account as an important factor in banana organizations. Throughout the history of the business, it has been organized in associations of producers, marketers and union groups, which have made it possible to formalize benefits and conventional salaries, which grant important guarantees to those who work in the sector. Due to the above, the employment relationship was considered from the strategic point of view of human management, focusing on identifying which cultural factors of the region such as: Customs, Rituals, Stories and Values exert influence on human management practices implemented by companies. and addressed to their operational base. To achieve this, the research was developed through the qualitative research methodology, which allowed us to find that the presence of local cultural factors in the operational base of the banana companies influence Human Management practices, as they enable their implementation. or they also become hindering factors; therefore, by taking into account the experiences and knowledge of human management leaders and operational leaders, it was concluded that knowing and being aware of the local cultural context is a necessary strategic task so that the design and implementation of practices are coherent and contribute to the organizational objectives pursued.Ítem The forgetfulness of the aromatic time and contemplation as emancipatory praxis: some reflections from reading Byung-Chul Han(Universidad EAFIT, 10-12-19) Jiménez Salazar, Alejandro; Universidad EAFITÍtem Formulación de estrategias para el desarrollo ejecutivo de Viento en Popa Ensamble - Popayán - Colombia: planificación, CRM y programación(Universidad EAFIT, 2015) Gómez Coral, René Gabriel; Vinasco Guzmán, Javier AsdrúbalLa presente monografía hace un estudio de distintos elementos de la gestión cultural que se relacionan con la interacción del público y los artistas, a partir de ello, genera una propuesta metodológica que plantea una ruta estratégica diseñada para el desarrollo ejecutivo de Viento en popa ensamble en la ciudad de Popayán – Colombia, dicha ruta se traza para que la agrupación asuma una visión enfocada a la planificación, su programación y la formación de público
