Departamento de Ingeniería de Sistemas; I+D+I en Tecnologías de la Información y las ComunicacionesIn this paper, an adaptive intelligent controller based on the fuzzy algorithm called LAMDA (Learning Algorithm for Multivariable Data Analysis) is presented in order to identify and regulate a process with variable dead time. The original algorithm has been used for supervised and unsupervised learning, whose main field of application is the identification of functional states of the systems. In this work a modification of LAMDA has been implemented which is capable of online learning using hybrid techniques. The proposal consists of two stages: training stage to learn about the unknown plant in order to establish initial parameters to the controller, and a second phase, called application, in which the control strategy is updated using online learning. Control can be found in everyday life in activities like adjusting the temperature of the shower or adjusting the brightness in a greenhouse. In general terms, a control system is a component of a more complex system in which it is required to produce a certain output or maintain a specific system state Systems that require a feedback control process are becoming increasingly complex, which carries with it great challenges. This research aims to propose a simple model-driven engineering approach, for the control of continuous systems and discrete-event systems, which includes the implementation of the proposal on the VariaMos platform and its application in two proof of concept. The implementation allows in an experimental way, to obtain the analytical model of the system and the gains of the PID controller. The results obtained show how approach can be used in systems with continuous and discrete events. Therefore, it is concluded that the proposed approach allows producing systems with feedback capabilities. Departamento de Ingeniería de Sistemas; I+D+I en Tecnologías de la Información y las ComunicacionesIn recent years, and considering the rise of Interactive Digital Television (idTV), it has been great interest in the design of applications and services for this platform. However, the success of these applications largely depends on the ease of use and how users interact with them. For this reason, we have explored different interfaces and modes of interaction to improve the user experience with these applications in comparison with the traditional Remote-Control (RC). This article presents an interaction with idTV applications using multiple input control interfaces with different modes of interaction such as touch buttons, gesture recognition, voice recognition, and recognition of movements. These modes of interaction were validated through usability testing using a model of quasi-experimental evaluation of three dimensions, where each dimension represents respectively: users, tasks and control interfaces. As a result of the qualitative and quantitative assessments, we performed an analysis of possible improvements in the usability of a particular application of idTV. This project was based on the development of a functional prototype in hardware and software of a proportional valve for low-cost automatic control, coupling a conventional valve found in the market configured with microcontrollers, obtaining a low-cost device compared to those existing in the market that satisfy similar needs. The project was divided into four stages: i) mechanical coupling of the valve and the stepper motor, ii) electrical connection of the motor with the Arduino microcontroller, iii) programming the code to control the percentage of valve opening in direct relation with the number of steps of the motor, iv) transcription of the programming code to the Raspberry microcontroller to control the valve with the cell phone. A functional prototype with rapid response capacity was made and five buttons were set for the opening percentage of 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 %. In addition to this, it was possible to build a valve cell interface with a Raspberry microcontroller run through Google's mobile app, Home Assistant, to remotely control the valve.Ítem Modelo para el otorgamiento, seguimiento y control de crédito de los clientes(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Sanabria Velásquez, María del Pilar; Ospina Mejía, Jaime AlbertoThe following work has the purpose of proposing a model for the granting, monitoring and control of Clients' credit quotas based on the information of the financial statements such as the Balance Sheet and the financial statement of Loss and Gain of the clients object of study of the years 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, the following indicators will be analyzed; Working Capital/Total Assets, Retained Earnings/Total Assets, Operating Profit/Total Assets, Total Equity/Total Liabilities, Net Sales/Total Assets, these indicators are fundamental to be able to apply the Altman Z Score model. This is a simple analysis technique that indicates the probability of bankruptcy that customers may have, for this purpose, ten medium-sized customers of the company will be taken as a sample and will indicate how viable it will be to grant and / or monitor credit quotas. The sector and some qualitative variables can improve or impair the rating and these are not taken into account in the company.
