Canvas, to structure the business model as a personal entrepreneurship project, incorporating an analysis of the environment with PESTEL and Five Forces of Porter as an integral part of the profiling of the client and the value proposition. This process is a mathematical model designed to represent the performance of a financial asset or portfolio of a business, project, or any other investment. The financial modeling is an exercise in either asset pricing or corporate finance, of a quantitative nature. Its principal objective is translating a set of hypotheses about the behavior of markets or agents into numerical predictions. This term is also known as a general term that means different things to different users; this term can be related either to corporate finance applications or to quantitative finance applications. In this modeling we are going to analyze a company called Medtronic. This is a company with a strong competitive position and the exercise is about a Hold recommendation for Medtronic. This report was originally made as the final project for FIN 217F - Corporate Financial Modeling course enrolled during fall 2018 in Brandeis University, it was homologated as part of the double degree process as the dissertation of the Master in Financial Management in EAFIT University.Ítem Plan estratégico para la empresa Lujos y Repuestos la 50(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Rodríguez Quintero, Camila; Gallo Marín, Rodrigo; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz Amparo; Giraldo Hernández, Gina MariaLujos y Repuestos La 50 is a family business with 24 years of experience in the auto parts market, located in the Bello municipality (Antioquia) and with a wide range of spare parts for light vehicles. In recent years, the company has had significant growth, but without a clear strategy; that is why the need to develop a strategic plan was identified that allows it to set the course for growth for the coming years, and likewise, ensure the long-term sustainability of the company in a profitable manner. With this strategic plan, it also seeks to strengthen the value proposition and thus continue to deliver said value to its customers. For this, an analysis of the internal and external environment of the organization was carried out with analysis and diagnostic tools such as: the Pestel model, Canvas, Porter's five forces, the value chain and Bowman's watch. Likewise, with interviews with key personnel of the organization and with questionnaires oriented to topics such as prices, market, competitors, products, substitutes, perceived value, among other key concepts.
