The purpose of this research was to identify the characteristics of affective development in a group of children between 5 and 6 years of age who are under the protection and protection of the Elena and Juan Corporation located in Envigado (Ant.). It was carried out from a qualitative approach and was a hermeneutic study, with a group of children between 5 and 6 years old who are part of the institution. For the collection of the information, individual interviews, projective techniques linked to drawing and participant observation were used for several months. From there they could identify the impacts that the Corporation has on the emotional development of children, the ways in which the link with the members of the same is built and the attachment figures that emerge from this relationship.

Esta investigación tuvo como propósito identificar las características del desarrollo afectivo en un grupo de niños y niñas entre 5 y 6 años que se encuentran bajo el amparo y la protección de la Corporación Elena y Juan situada en Envigado (Ant.). Se realizó desde un enfoque cualitativo y fue un estudio de tipo hermenéutico, con un grupo de niños y niñas entre 5 y 6 años que hacen parte de la institución. Para la recolección de la información se utilizaron entrevistas individuales, técnicas proyectivas ligadas al dibujo y observación participante durante varios meses. De allí pudieron identificarse los impactos que la Corporación tiene en el desarrollo afectivo de los niños y niñas, las formas en las cuales se construye el vínculo con los integrantes de la misma y las figuras de apego que emergen de esta relación.
