| dc.description | De los Andes is a sonata-shaped work that, as the name implies, evokes some of the folk music of the entire Andes Mountains, which is most evident in the exposition of its two themes: the first one has airs to dance, playful and with good rhythmic activity, sometimes going from a 6/8 metric sensation to a 3/4 one, common in Colombian music like the corridor; while the second one is inclined towards Argentine life specifically, which is made audible in the melody and the resources used in it, also in the rhythm marked with pizzicato in pulses one and three in a 3/4 beat imitating the “box "Used in such music. This exhibition is followed by a development based on the two contrasting themes, undergoing both strong transformations. The work concludes with the re-exhibition of the themes presented at the beginning but exchanging their order, so the first theme of the work will be the last one, this in order to achieve a more rhythmic end and reaching a climax. | eng |
| dc.description | De los Andes es una obra en forma de sonata que, como su nombre lo señala, evoca algunas de las músicas folclóricas de toda la Cordillera de los Andes, lo que se hace más evidente en la exposición de sus dos temas: el primero tiene aires a danza, juguetón y con buena actividad rítmica, pasando en ocasiones de una sensación métrica de 6/8 a una de 3/4, común en la música colombiana como el pasillo; mientras que el segundo está inclinado hacia la vidala argentina específicamente, que se hace audible en la melodía y los recursos utilizados en ella, además en el ritmo marcado con pizzicato en los pulsos uno y tres en un compás de 3/4 imitando la “caja” usada en dicha música. A esta exposición le sigue un desarrollo basado en los dos temas contrastantes, sufriendo ambos fuertes transformaciones. La obra concluye con la re-exposición de los temas presentados al comienzo pero intercambiando su orden, así el primer tema de la obra será el último, esto con el fin de lograr un final de carácter más rítmico y alcanzando un clímax. | spa |
