dc.descriptionCon el objetivo de estudiar los elementos que tiene en cuenta una compañía para valorar el retorno de sus inversiones sin tener definida la estructura del costo de capital, este estudio realizará un análisis entre la forma como se hace y como se debería realizar la medición real, entregándole a la empresa Operadora del Otún S. A. S. un modelo con bases financieras que le permita calcular la estructura del costo de su capital incorporando los cambios del entorno y los de la estructura interna de la empresa -- Para lograr este objetivo, se aplicará una metodología de investigación mixta a través de entrevistas y encuestas en la empresa Operadora del Otún S. A. S. y comparando los hallazgos cualitativos con el cálculo financiero técnico -- Se espera que el modelo planteado sea aplicable en la compañía y tenga uso para la toma de decisiones, en la medida en que la información recolectada y suministrada por los accionistas y demás participantes sea real y verídica -- Asimismo, es importante aclarar que el resultado del modelo no será de aplicación general en todas las empresas, ya que se tienen en cuenta características específicas de la situación actual de la compañía sujeto de estudio, y aunque en rasgos generales puedan ser similares a otras, el impacto de la estrategia financiera y su manejo corporativo podrán alterar el resultado final del modelospa
dc.description.abstractIn order to study the elements that a company takes into account to assess the return on its investments without having defined the cost structure of capital, this study will analyze between the ways actual measurement is done and how it should be, by giving to the company Operadora del Otún S.A.S. a model with financial bases that allows it to calculate the cost structure of its capital incorporating changes in the environment and the internal structure of the company -- To achieve this objective, mixed research methodology will be applied, conducting interviews and surveys in the company Operadora del Otún S.A.S. and comparing the qualitative findings with the technical financial calculation -- It is expected that the proposed model will be applicable in the company and have use for decision making, to the extent that the information collected and provided by the shareholders and other participants is real and true -- Likewise, it is important to clarify that the result of the model will not be of general application in all entities, since specific characteristics of the current situation of the company under study are taken into account, and although in general terms they may be similar to others -- The impact of the financial strategy and its corporate management may alter the final result of the modelspa
