Resumen
This paper deals with a specific aspect of the structure of classical Greek tragedy. In particular, it is interested in showing how this species of the dramatic genre obeys the formal pattern known as the alternation. Two elements, which at the same time constitute two different linguistic codes, serve to carry out the discursive assembly of the dramatic piece: singing and reciting.
