dc.descriptionLa novela La carroza de Bolívar de Evelio Rosero Diago, plantea que la Historia como memoria colectiva oficialista puede cuestionarse, incluso modificarse, desde la perspectiva literaria -- Todo ello se entreteje a través de la propuesta novelística que hace el autor, en tanto pone en juego elementos literarios tales como la carnavalización, la simbolización de los objetos, además de plantear que la estructura de la novela histórica tiene diferentes formas de contarse -- Con ello, Rosero Diago logra ser contestatario en concepciones tradicionales como la memoria y la historia tradicional -- Más allá de que logre un cometido en sí, la novela se torna interesante porque pone al lector a juzgar por sí mismo, si gusta más de la tradición o de aquellos elementos que permiten controvertirla -- Es por esto que la novela no es concluyente, más bien deja abierta la pugna entre lo oral apócrifo y lo tradicional establecido, desde ello abre fisuras para que el lector se pregunte sobre antiguas certezasspa
dc.description.abstractThe novel La carroza de Bolívar by Evelio Rosero Diago, states that History as official collective memory can be questioned, even modified, from the literary perspective -- All of that is interwoven through the novelistic proposal made by the author, as he highlights literary elements such as carnivalization and symbolization of objects, posing that the structure of the historical novel has different ways to be told, too -- Thus, Rosero Diago attains to be contestatary of traditional conceptions such as memory and traditional history -- Beyond the fact of achieving a mission in itself, the novel turns into being interesting as it puts the reader to judge for himself, whether he likes more tradition or those elements that allow him to controvert it -- That is why the novel is not conclusive, it rather leaves the struggle between the apocryphal oral and the established traditional open, as it opens cracks so that the reader can be able to ask himself about old certaintiesspa
