dc.descriptionObjetivo: Describir las representaciones sociales que poseen algunos familiares respecto del trastorno psicótico de uno de sus miembros. Marco referencial: Se construye a partir de establecer el estado del arte respecto de la cuestión y de la definición de dos conceptos esenciales, estos son: Las representaciones sociales y el trastorno psicótico. También se hace referencia a un concepto igualmente importante que es: La familia. Método: Se trata de un estudio de tipo cualitativo descriptivo transversal basado en entrevistas semiestructuradas a algunos miembros familiares de una persona diagnosticada con trastorno psicótico. Resultados: Sobre las representaciones sociales, se evidenció que la información sobre el diagnóstico es adquirida por medio de: La experiencia, el acompañamiento del familiar a medicina psiquiátrica, la formación y/o el conocimiento común. Sobre el campo de representación se averiguó que existe una imagen del diagnóstico como oportunidad de aprendizaje, de afectación del entorno y una imagen del vínculo familiar como lejano. Se halló que la actitud frente al diagnóstico se caracteriza por las preocupaciones y expectativas que están orientadas al miembro familiar, la familia y las personas del entorno. Además, existe una actitud ambivalente respecto al esto actual de la familia en términos de bienestar. Discusión y conclusiones: Se realiza un dialogo entre los resultados y el marco referencial identificando el nivel de semejanza o diferencia con la investigación presente, respondiendo la pregunta de investigación. Al mismo tiempo, se presenta la utilidad de los hallazgos, recomendaciones para futuras investigaciones y limitaciones de esta investigación.spa
dc.description.abstractObjective: To describe the social representations that some family members have regarding the psychotic disorder of one of their members. Referential framework: It is built from establishing the state of the art regarding the issue and the definition of two essential concepts, these are: Social representations and psychotic disorder. Reference is also made to an equally important concept which is: The family. Method: This is a cross-sectional descriptive qualitative study based on semi-structured interviews with some family members of a person diagnosed with psychotic disorder. Results: Regarding the social representations, it was evidenced that the information on the diagnosis is acquired through: The experience, the accompaniment of the family member to psychiatric medicine, training and / or common knowledge. Regarding the field of representation, it was found that there is an image of the diagnosis as a learning opportunity, of affecting the environment and an image of the family bond as distant. It was found that the attitude towards the diagnosis is characterized by the concerns and expectations that are oriented to the family member, the family and the people in the environment. In addition, there is an ambivalent attitude regarding the current situation of the family in terms of well-being. Discussion and conclusions: A dialogue is carried out between the results and the referential framework, identifying the level of similarity or difference with the present research, answering the research question. At the same time, the usefulness of the findings, recommendations for future research, and limitations of this research are presented.spa
