dc.descriptionDuring the nineteenth century, the figures of the composer and the musical performer split, giving rise to various positions about the scope of the role of the performer, as well as about the conception of the musical work and the score as its graphic equivalent. This article reviews several of them in which, nevertheless, it finds a common element that all recognize: the “inevitable” contribution of the performer. Contribution that is defined in the terms that establish the so-called cognitive-enactive musical semiotics, gestures and performance studies, to determine the participation of the body, and especially of the corporeality inherent in the execution, as an instance of significance and, to at the same time, vehicle of communication of the musical meaning built.eng
dc.descriptionDurante el siglo XIX, las figuras del compositor y del intérprete musical se escindieron, dando origen a diversas posturas acerca de los alcances del papel del ejecutante, así como sobre la concepción de la obra musical y de la partitura como su equivalente gráfico. Este artículo revisa varias de ellas en las que, no obstante, encuentra un elemento común que todas reconocen: el aporte “inevitable” del ejecutante. Aporte que se define en los términos que establecen la denominada semiótica musical cognitivo–enactiva, la gestualidad y los estudios de performance, para determinar la participación del cuerpo, y sobre todo de la corporeidad inherente a la ejecución, como instancia de significación y, a la vez, vehículo de comunicación del significado musical construido.spa
