    The scope of this work is to find a solution for an oil & gas company located in the municipality of Tame, Arauca, that allows it to construct flowlines for fluid transportation in a shorter execution time. In this way, the company could have greater flexibility to invest in projects and improve profitability by anticipating income flows, given the variability in the scheduling of well drilling. Additionally, considering that the investment in well drilling can represent a high percentage of the total company investments in the oil & gas sector, it would be beneficial to consider a strategy that enables meeting deadlines from drilling and being prepared to operationalize the well. In order to fulfill the scope, in the theoretical framework was consolidated the tools that allowed for the evaluation and were described the technologies to be assessed. In the methodological design, the evaluation model was constructed considering quantitative aspects, due to the type of technical information available for assessment. Through the collected sources of information, the financial and technical study was completed by comparing the traditional method of welded flowline construction versus flexible flowline construction.
