Understanding changes in spatial mismatch at the intra-urban level in Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Bernal Pavas, Víctor David; Pérez Pérez, Jorge Eduardo; García Cruz, Gustavo AdolfoWe analyze accessibility to jobs through different transportation modes and the extent of job spatial mismatch at the intra-urban level in a developing country city. We propose a methodology to calculate spatial mismatch and assess its evolution over time in presence of incomplete data, using a combination of reported travel times from origin-destination surveys and estimated travel time data from mapping applications. We use data from Medellín, Colombia, from 2012 to 2017, to measure accessibility using employment weighted by travel times. We find that despite the continuous investment in public transportation and transport infrastructure, spatial mismatch in Medellín has increased, and it is considerably larger for job seekers and workers using public transport compared to those using private transport.Ítem Caracterización de los centros de distribución urbana : un primer paso hacia su diseño(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Quijano Pérez, Juan Guillermo; Montoya Echeverri, José AlejandroÍtem Comparador público privado (CPP) en proyectos de infraestructura : caso aplicado al proyecto de transporte de pasajeros por cable aéreo tipo telecabinas, fase I en la ciudad de Pereira(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Castillo Gómez, Johan Manuel; Mejía Hernández, Andrés Iván; Restrepo Tobón, Diego AlexanderPublic transport systems in Colombia have in recent years been a structural axis within the National Development Plan (PND); seeking to have quality and sustainable transport systems ("Quality public transport, with affordable rates and safer, challenge in urban mobility of the PND 2018-2022, in PDN, 2019). For Risaralda, the PND 2014-2018, includes visionary projects such as the Integrated Regional Transport System for the Coffee Region, contributing to the growth of the region and the improvement of the environment, and within this is cable-car-type aerial cable transport. This work proposes to carry out an analysis of the financing methods of the Public Reference Project (PPR) and the Public-Private Association (APP) for this transport project in the city of Pereira. The methodology to be used for its execution is by means of a Public Private Comparator (CPP), estimating total net costs and determining the Value for Money (VpD) by analyzing the results obtained; establishing the efficient method, making them sustainable over time and contemplating responsibilities such as those entailed in the administration and maintenance of this type of transport.Ítem La competencia desleal en el transporte de pasajeros en Colombia : análisis de la situación legal de las plataformas virtuales de transporte de pasajeros en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Gaviria Arroyo, Laura Maria; Zuluaga Mejía, Ricardo; Vélez Villegas, Juan EstebanThe present document will study the incursion of the collaborative economy in the passenger transport in Colombia, and if this form of competitions is a way of an unfair competition. Platforms like Uber, Cabify and Didi are competing in a sector of the economy monopolized by taxis who are subjected to some special rules they must comply with in order to operate in Colombia. Which is why it is important the debate as to whether Uber, Cabify or Didi should be benefited with the principle of freedom to provide services and innovation or whether they are included in the transport sector and should abide by the rules the taxis have to work with.Ítem Cultura del incumplimiento : la interiorización cultural del incumplimiento de los artículos 96 y 109 del Código Nacional de Tránsito en Sincelejo por parte de estudiantes de la Universidad de Sucre que se movilizan en motocicleta o son usuarios del “mototaxismo”(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Bertel Fuentes, Juan Pablo; Murillo Carvajal, FelipeÍtem Diseño de líneas de transporte público con consideraciones ambientales(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Bolaños Nuñez, Sara Alejandra; Rivera Agudelo, Juan CarlosÍtem Esquemas de movilidad compartida con vehículos eléctricos : actitudes en el Valle de Aburrá(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Gómez Correa, Maria Paula; Ceballos Ochoa, Lina María; Bejarano Botero, Luis MauricioÍtem Estimación de la distribución espacial del ingreso intra-urbano de Medellín y su área Metropolitana, usando imágenes satelitales diurnas(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Salazar Vásquez, Jessica Patricia; Patiño Quinchía, Jorge Eduardo; Duque Cardona, Juan Carlos; Gómez Escobar, Jairo AlejandroÍtem Estudio de factibilidad de un servicio de transporte público complementario al tranvía de Ayacucho por medio de servicios alimentadores(Universidad EAFIT, 2016) Jiménez Ospina, David; Cardona Ramírez, Jorge Mario; Salazar Pineda, RodrigoDe acuerdo con el plan de desarrollo para la ciudad de Medellín, se creó el corredor verde de Ayacucho, el cual se implementó con un sistema masivo de transporte público con tecnología tranviaria, alimentada por dos cables y un sistema de buses alimentadores -- Dentro de dicho plan se contempla el proceso de racionalización de las empresas de buses tradicionales de la zona, dicho proceso generará una demanda que el mismo tranvía, con su capacidad y su modelo operacional no podrá satisfacer; por lo tanto, y para aliviarla, se propone un proyecto en el que intervengan vehículos alimentadores, creando un escenario en el que el tranvía con sus cables movilice a los pasajeros para los cuales fue concebido, mientras que el resto de la población se podrá movilizar en vehículos amigables con el medio ambiente, que permitirán que el transporte público actual de la zona evolucione a transporte masivo, con las condiciones de seguridad, infraestructura, tecnología y desarrollo que esto conllevaÍtem Estudio de pre-factibilidad para el diseño e implementación de una aplicación tecnológica en las empresas de transporte de carga en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) García Pérez, David Andrés; Ortiz Cardona, Edwin Germán; Villegas Flórez, Juan CamiloThe demanding competitiveness in the industry and the economy demands the creation of new technologies and business processes as well as their application in supply chains, traditional and new, in which the transport sector is closely linked with its different processes. Due to the delay that affects the transporters to meet the needs of the placement of cargo vehicles, there is an inefficiency of time; the documentary registration processes in each company are slow for the current logistics needs, and they require a more agile management. In these frequent changes, in which the transport economy requires new challenges and practical solutions through technology, a pre-feasibility study is provided. Such study includes an analysis that allows the design and subsequent creation and implementation in the market of a mobile application. This technological tool will improve the time in the creation of the resumes of the carriers in the companies supplying different types of land cargo, in order to promote an optimization in the times and costs related to the transport where there are multiple variables, many of them of high relevance, but with little attention and measurement. This is a fundamental issue for the logistics operations in the loading processes to be the most efficient and effective.Ítem Estudio de prefectabilidad para la implementación de una línea de servicio para mujeres en la empresa Tau logística y transporte(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Ceballos Agudelo, Cristian Arley; Díez Benjumea, Jhon MiguelÍtem Factibilidad de crear una empresa de transporte especial que ofrezca el servicio con carros híbridos y eléctricos en Bogotá(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Torrado Pérez, María Angélica; Romero Fonseca, Natalia Andrea; Salazar Gómez, Francisco Javier; Uribe de Correa, Beatriz AmparoÍtem Impacto de los casos, defunciones y recuperaciones de la epidemia de Covid-19 en el tráfico vehicular de las vías concesionadas en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Vázquez Villalpando, Víctor Manuel; Hurtado Rendón, Álvaro ArturoÍtem Implementación de la torre de control para la administración de riesgos operativos en empresas de transporte terrestre de carga en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Navarro Arango, Oscar Andrés; Escalante Gómez, Juan EstebanÍtem Integrated operation and maintenance policies for the economic, social and environmental optimization of interconnected urban transport systems(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Martinod Restrepo, Ronald Mauricio; Castañeda Heredia, Leonel FranciscoÍtem Lecciones aprendidas de la implementación del módulo de gestión de proyectos de un ERP SAP para las nuevas instalaciones en una empresa de transporte vertical en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Mesa Vanegas, Luis Javier; Garnica Baraza, Ernesto JoséThe implementation of a project module of an ERP system in a company is a complex and expensive process that requires an additional effort to be able to take advantage of its benefits into the organization, hoping to impact the profitability and efficiency of the business unit. Therefore, generating a compendium of lessons learned from the implementation process is a mandatory exercise that must be carried out to ensure better practices in future implementations. In this work, the results obtained after investigating and collecting stakeholder data based on surveys, interviews and panel of expert judgment work are evaluated and analyzed, resulting in the description of the capitalizations of shares implemented from the hierarchy and prioritization of lessons learned measured by the impact and probability of occurrence and generating final recommendations for the projects that will be in progress or are planned to be carried out in other branches of the company, as well as meeting points for projects with some relationship, which allows taking as a starting point the positive actions developed during this work and not to repeat common or typical errors of these computer projects.Ítem Lecciones aprendidas del proyecto Metrocable Línea P (Picacho)(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Guerrero Molina, Santiago; Albornoz Zambrano, David Alejandro; Tobar Guinand, José MauricioCable cars transportation has taken the biggest Latin-American and worldwide cities, becoming a sustainable solution for mobility needs in the high population density cities with hard topography access. That type of transport has led to a social innovation and at the same time has allowed the development of those cities in terms of infrastructure. Thereby, it is relevant to document the Learned Lessons of this kind of Projects to ensure the decrease of mistakes or to repeat the good experiences in future developments. So that, the best practices and lessons obtained from the implementation of this type of projects will be applied. In this particular case, it is intended to collect and share the Learned Lessons of “Metrocable línea P” project in Medellin city, considering the stages of preliminary project, construction and commissioning in order to standardize the high amount of process, activities and practices, making the future deliverables more efficient, sustainable and with better quality. The methodology of the (NATO) North Atlantic Treaty Organization will be implemented in this work for the identification of Learned Lessons, with the support of After Action Review (AAR) and consists of structured meetings in which the experiences and activities executed are analyzed, based on their objectives, expectations and achieved results.Ítem Logistics Model Development for Road Transportation Cost Optimization of a Consumer Goods Company(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Guerrero Ramírez, Santiago; Escalante Gómez, Juan EstebanÍtem Modelo de negocio de valor compartido para la bancarización del sector transporte terrestre(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Ruiz Pillimue, Diana Milena; Mora Cuartas, Andrés MauricioThe latent financial inclusion gap in Latin America and the Caribbean restricts economic growth and expansion, while exacerbating social inequality, limiting the region's progress and competitiveness. Therefore, it is essential to create shared value business models oriented towards the democratization of credit, which make it possible to integrate business success with the economic and social progress of the target market segment and the communities where the model is developed. The design of a shared value business model to provide banking services to people in the land cargo transportation sector, who have not been considered a viable market by the financial sector, due to the high levels of informality in their operations and transactions, significant opportunities to boost the socioeconomic development of the country, by to simulate the economy through the generation of new entrepreneurs, fostering the creation of wealth, promoting new jobs, increasing financial inclusion, and increasing the purchasing power for the demand of better goods and services. At the same time, it contributes positively to closing the social inequality gap, to the extent that the organizational economic benefits transcend to improve the quality of life of the population and expanding the middle class. This shared value business model design follows a qualitative approach, based on research and analysis of relevant information, to build a value proposition aimed at the defined market segment, extrapolating its financial viability under certain assumptions.
