Ítem Evaluación de la percepción de los actores de la cuádruple hélice sobre la relevancia del marco institucional en el funcionamiento de un Sistema de Innovación Regional (SRI) a partir de un análisis de redes.(Universidad EAFIT, 2018) Durán Hernández, Juan David; Ortega Álvarez, Ana María; Giraldo Hernández, Gina MaríaOne of the competitive advantages of companies and nations is achieved through the processes of innovation and the results that materialize in products and services (Porter, 1990) -- The Oslo Manual (OECD, 2005) defines innovation as “The improvements of a product, process, marketing or an organization, through the generation and implementation of significant and / or radical changes” -- Likewise, innovation is a process carried out jointly by various actors from different disciplines, who generate knowledge by exchanging their ideas and experiences (Asheim and Coenen, 2005) -- Taking into account the above statements, we recognize the need to study innovation processes as systems, in which there are multiple actors that interact with each other, recognizing in the literature sectorial, technological, national and regional innovation systems (Asheim, Smith and Oughton, 2011) -- This work focuses on regional innovation systems (RIS) analyzing the interaction of the actors of the quadruple helix: civil society, State, Academia and industry (Cavallini, Friedl, Soldi and Volpe, 2016) -- The interaction between the different actors of the RIS that was studied will be analyzed from the neo-institutional perspective defined by North (1989), which establishes the need for formal and informal institutions to determine the terms of interaction between the actors, with the objective of increasing economic development by reducing uncertainty and increasing trust among the actors participating in the exchange -- In Colombia, it has been defined that one of the axes for economic development is innovation (MinTIC, 2014), and there is currently a regional innovation system (RIS) developed in the Aburrá valley (Ruta N, 2016) -- By studying the perception of RIS actors in this region about the importance of formal and informal institutions for the success of the innovation system, policy developers in the country can be supported to focus resources on success of the system and the economic development of the region -- This work uses the information of surveys taken during the development of the research The role of institutions in a regional innovation system and their impact on the innovationÍtem La gestión de redes políticas conformadas por la sociedad civil para incidir en políticas públicas : el caso NiñezYA(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Garay Molina, Natalia María; Leyva Botero, Santiago; Turriago Borrero, CarolinaÍtem Guía para gestionar recursos en principios de cooperación internacional(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Calderón Pérez, Dayhane Del Carmen; Botero Mora, Ana MaríaThe general objective of this research is to propose a guide to manage resources in principles of International Cooperation that contributes to the development of the projects of the Triple A Foundation; establishing strategies that allow access to and take advantage of aid from the Cooperation, not only in search of resources but also in the impact of its projects to fight poverty and inequality. Topics such as the concept of cooperation, whose meaning is based on a construction of relationships that seek, under the same goal, to develop joint participation, will be theoretically dealt with. Likewise, the concept of cooperation for development is defined, which allows broadening the spectrum of ideas that can be developed, when one thinks of "cooperation" only. The origin, evolution and meaning of International Cooperation for Development, the antecedents, participants and the modalities of International Cooperation will be studied in depth; providing a scheme of possible cooperators to achieve alliances between organizations. The unit of analysis is constituted by the triple A foundation of the city of Barranquilla, since it meets the inclusion criteria, while it is a foundation that carries out International Cooperation projects focused on development. The study will be based on the review of secondary sources such as foundation documents and scientific articles, related to the subject. All of the above is intended to ensure that this research allows Non-Governmental Organizations such as the Triple A Foundation to apply International Cooperation policies that contribute to the assertive execution of projects that result in meeting the needs of the populations involved. As well as, it seeks to generate a culture of knowledge regarding the procedures that must be followed, to apply to calls for International Cooperation.Ítem The struggle for adequate leadership in social movement organizations(Universidad EAFIT, 2020-10) Simsa, Ruth; Totter, Marion; Universidad de Economía y Empresa de Viena; Universidad de Economía y Empresa de VienaThis article analyzes how leadership is practiced in social movement organizations (OMS). Drawing on Critical Leadership Studies, and based on qualitative empirical research conducted in the organizations of the Spanish 15M protest movement, we analyze leadership perceptions, tensions and practices in dealing with these challenges. Our findings indicate that leadership practices in the investigated OMSs are autonomous, reflective and rule-based. Emphasizing collective reflection and rules highlights two aspects of leadership in OMSs that have been largely ignored in the discourses. Nevertheless, they turn out to be important means to address the challenges of autonomous leadership.
