    Educación para la regeneración en América Latina y sus aportes para la medición de transiciones regenerativas en el Instituto Técnico Agropecuario de Támesis, Antioquia

    This research project is being conducted at the Instituto Técnico Agropecuario (ITA) in Támesis, Antioquia, using a qualitative methodology with a participatory action approach. Documentary analysis, semi-structured interviews, and participatory workshops were utilized to design a conceptual framework aimed at better understanding regenerative practices applied globally in recent years. This framework is organized into four main categories: Philosophical and Cultural Principles; Collaboration and Action Processes; Systemic and Transformative Dynamics; and Governance and Leadership. These categories are grounded in the contributions of authors such as Gibbons, Müller, and Biederman, among others. ITA was chosen for its established trajectory in regenerative-focused projects, including the local pollinator group, the practice of minimum tillage, and the production of organic coffee. These initiatives demonstrate a significant commitment to regeneration, even though they are not always explicitly framed within a formal theoretical framework. Based on these practices, a checklist was developed that, in addition to being applicable to this institution, can be adapted to others, considering their specific characteristics and contexts. As a result, a participatory checklist was created to serve as a tool for evaluating the degree of regeneration in educational institutions. This tool was applied at ITA and made it possible to identify both strengths and opportunities for improvement in its regenerative practices. The proposed model has the potential to be adapted in other educational institutions, as it is grounded in universal principles of regeneration, while allowing for contextualization according to the socioterritorial realities of each community.

    Protected areas have been conceived as a powerful instrument to generate mechanisms for the protection and conservation of the environment, the declaration of these areas generates important impacts on the dynamics of the communities that surround them because, although they prevent these individuals from generating actions to exploit the territories, they can also prove to be important sources of income such as tourism. Colombia appears to be a case of major interest in the study of this type of zone in relation to the efects it may have on their communities, this is due to the fact that this country enjoys a vast territory with diferent thermal oors and a large number of natural areas that have been declared protected by the State, however, Colombia turns out to be even more particular because the internal armed con ict that it has experienced throughout its history has made the State's presence in certain territories difcult, therefore it is necessary to estimate whether the declaration of protected areas has generated impacts taking into account this problem of governance or whether, on the contrary, these declarations have had no impact as the presence of groups is taken into account.

    Companies face a major challenge is this globalized economy, because to survive they have to offer new products with added value in the international market. This requires professionals trained in the methodologies for the development of new products (DNP) and university graduates must have these skills so that they can contribute to deal with this situation. A long with this they also require innovations running by the side of conservation of the environment and the taking of full advantage of available resources, either from land or technological transformation. This project is to open a window of opportunity so that the Process Engineering students can acquire the knowledge needed to perform successfully in the DNP training. A lso field employers can get valueadded products as an alternative in times of unfavourable prices.
