Ítem La ablación genital femenina : un análisis jurídico comparado entre Colombia, España y Egipto(Universidad Eafit, 2020) Suárez Segura, Camila Andrea; Vélez Patiño, Mariana; Toro Valencia, José Alberto; Barboza Vergara, Antonio CarlosThe objective of this enquiry is to compare the legal treatment given to the female genital mutilation in Colombia, Egypt and Spain through a comparative law study, in order to identify the differences and similarities of the cultural development of the practice in each country, as well as the legal response that they have seized regarding mutilation. This investigation aims to define if the regulation in those legal systems takes a multiculturalist or feminist approach, based on the assumption that the practice entails a conflict between the rights of self-determination and cultural identity of the communities that practice it and the fundamental right of physical and mental integrity of those girls and women that have experienced female genital mutilation.Ítem Aerial Spraying and Health in Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Flórez Escobar, Alicia; Dávalos Álvarez, EleonoraÍtem Un análisis comparado del embarazo adolescente en Colombia y América Latina. Metanálisis de literatura en latinoamérica(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Restrepo Cardona, Isabel; Cantet, María NataliaÍtem Análisis comparativo de la significación de las relaciones vecinales en habitantes del Valle de Aburrá(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Henao Duque, Andrea; Zuluaga Aristizábal, Marda UcarisÍtem Análisis de la movilidad social en Colombia durante las últimas dos décadas(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Mejía Molina, Cristian Alexander; García Montoya, Juan Camilo; Goda, ThomasThis research is based on the realization of a social mobility index through intergenerational education, understood as that which associates the educational level of a current generation with its immediately preceding generation. This is justified by the reality that Colombia is currently experiencing in terms of inequality and poverty, being the second most unequal country in Latin America, as measured by the Gini coefficient. Through the following work, the behavior of such social mobility in the different regions of the country was analyzed, in addition to a differentiation by education quantiles, which allowed identifying characteristics of each population group. In general, it is found that social mobility in Colombia is low, however, it has improved in the last decade, and the need for a longitudinal survey is also mentioned, which would allow to better capture this phenomenon, since the current methodologies have many limitations.Ítem Análisis de las acciones de monitoreo en el servicio de acompañamiento a familias del Programa Nacional Cuna Más, en el distrito de Namora- Cajamarca, para el mejoramiento de la atención a la primera infancia durante el año 2015(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Martos Huamán, Elisa; Vargas Sáenz, Mario EnriqueMonitoring is a key process in the execution of social programs, it allows monitoring and verifying the fulfillment of goals and objectives, and implementing mechanisms for improvement and adaptation of the intervention, this is how the National Cuna Más Program has been readjusting some actions to overcome the gaps in child development in children under 3 years of age, through its two services: Nursery and Family Support (SAF). The investigation focuses on the SAF, Namora district, Cajamarca province; in order to analyze the follow-up actions, socialization of results and usefulness in decision-making in 2015; considering the implementation of technical guidelines. The type of research is qualitative, using interviews and focus groups with Program collaborators, authorities and users' families, to find out their perception, opinion and expectations. Based on the research, it is determined that the SAF monitoring is designed, regulated and executed, in a leading manner, by the headquarters team (Lima). In the execution, the team of the Territorial Unit and to a lesser extent the community actors, made up of Management Committees and Vigilance Councils, also participate in some way. The socialization of the monitoring results is carried out with the teams responsible for Lima, specialists and only with some technicians and / or community companions, but not with community actors. The results of the follow-up are translated into the reassignment of personnel by Management Committees, prioritization of messages about care and learning practices, application of new cards to measure the growth and development of the child, and reorientation of the budget for the implementation of the Nursery Centers. More. Few community actors are aware of follow-up actions; For this reason, it is recommended to share actions and follow-up results with all SAF actors, since the users themselves must be active agents of change; taking into account the development of an effective communication strategy at the national level, so that the program complies with the co-management guidelines.Ítem Análisis de las buenas prácticas en gobernanza minera y un debate en torno a sus variables, recursos y principios : aproximación al reciente caso de Quebradona en el Municipio de Jericó – Antioquia(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Álvarez Calderón, Liz Margaret; Uribe López, MauricioÍtem Análisis de las políticas públicas para el manejo de consumo de sustancias psicoactivas en adolescentes : caso Córdoba(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Orozco Portillo, Marco Tulio; Duncan Cruz, Gustavo RobertoThis research seeks to address the problem of psychoactive substance use in adolescents as a social phenomenon that ends up affecting the general population. In Colombia, different public policies are created in order to control such consumption, however, the country has historically been a country of production and consumption of psychoactive substances; this is why there have also been attempts to apply strategies that help solve such problem, but there is no clarity about the level of efficiency of the strategies applied from the creation and implementation of public policies in order to manage the consumption of psychoactive substances in young people in the department of Córdoba. The SDO (2015) expresses that it is essential to direct attention to the internal consumption of psychoactive substances. Despite the different characteristics between municipalities, there are territories in which these policies were efficient and taking this into account we seek to analyze the implementation of public policies on the management of consumption of psychoactive substances in young people in Córdoba, applying a qualitative methodology of comparative case, so that the problem questions are answered.Ítem Análisis de los factores que influyen en el logro de los objetivos y en la ejecución de las actividades de la intervención Soporte Pedagógico para la Secundaria Rural en diferentes regiones del Perú durante el año 2017 en el Ministerio de Educación(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Guevara Rojas, Luis Alberto; Vargas Sáenz, Mario EnriqueThe intervention Pedagogical Support for the Rural Secondary School develops a pedagogical and social community support to reduce the rural vs. urban gap in the achievement of learning objectives, school dropout, school violence, and strengthen teachers’ capacities. In that context, this investigation analyzes the proposal's approach, the characteristics’ labor of accompaniment and the relationship between companions and user actors in order to determine factors associated with the effectiveness of the SPSR intervention. For this, a case study will be carried out with a mixed methodological proposal that uses interviews, documentary analysis and surveys; and assumes as an analysis unit the companions who work in the different regions of Peru and the specialists of the Minedu who are in charge of the coordination and management of the intervention. The findings reveal that the SPSR intervention is a holistic proposal that needs to be understood by its human resources in a standardized and practical way. Also, despite the committed and motivated human resources, there are administrative and professional development limitations that limit dissatisfaction and instability. And, in the relationship between the companion and the users, both acceptance and accompaniment can coexist as rejection of this due to subjective perceptions of hierarchy. From social management perspective, this research generates learned lessons linked to building capacities programs; innovation opportunities; and reassess the importance of human resources management as part of capacity building difficulties. It also offers ways to improve the implementation of Pedagogical Support for Rural Secondary Education.Ítem Análisis de los instrumentos de política pública para comunidades afrodescendientes del departamento de Antioquia(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Espinoza Espinosa, Luisa Milena; Mosquera Robledo, Yudy Nathalia; Escobar Blanco, Paola AndreaÍtem Análisis de los programas de adulto mayor en Sabaneta y sus beneficios en la salud física, cognitiva y psicológica(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Sánchez Henao, Natalia; Jiménez Londoño, Laura María; Ceballos García, Grey YulietÍtem Análisis de normas sobre Covid-19 : atención de la pandemia y sus posibles retos para los prestadores de servicios de salud(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Giraldo Ramírez, Ana Mercedes; Betancourt Mainieri, AliciaÍtem Análisis del delito de inducción o ayuda al suicidio (artículo 107 del Código Penal Colombiano)(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Camacho Hauad, Victoria Eugenia; Escobar Veléz, SusanaÍtem Análisis del proceso de implementación del proyecto de intoxicación por plomo en el Callao(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Martínez Monge, Franco; Vargas Sáenz, Mario EnriqueStudies conducted by the General Division of Environmental Health of the Ministry of Health (DIGESA) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) confirm that the children living and studying around mining deposits in Callao have been exposed lead pollution and observe large amounts of lead in their blood, a condition that affects both their health and their development opportunities. In this context, the Regional Government of Callao decided to implement the project "Control of lead poisoning to students of affected schools in Callao". The objective of the project is to reduce the effects of lead in children´s blood both with the environmental hygiene and adequate nutrition. There is no information that reports the progress of the project not the effectiveness of such policy. In this sense, this thesis aims to generate information on this regard and, in particular, the successes and failures in its implementation. Results suggest that although the beneficiaries value the project and consider that it has impacted student motivation and vitality and has sensitized parents on the existing problem and how to approach it, the project does not show improvements on health or education due to low implementation of good nutritional and environmental practices at home. The evidence generated by this research is relevant for the Regional Government of Callao since it identifies successes and failures in the implementation of the project and highlights the need to modify or strengthen it to achieve the expected objectives. This is particularly urgent, as new reports of lead contamination in other districts of Callao arise, which, in addition to requiring further regulation, may require such intervention to minimize the negative impact of the transit of minerals through the port of Callao.Ítem Análisis regional de las brechas del capital humano relacionado con el embarazo adolescente en Colombia (2000-2015)(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Mogollón Vargas, Rubi Juliana; Vélez Uribe, Esteban; Ceballos García, Grey YulietThis study examines the relationship between teenage pregnancy and school dropout in Colombia between 2000 and 2015, using data from the National Demography and Health Survey. Through the use of Propensity Score Matching, it analyzes how early motherhood affects the accumulation of human capital, identifying regional and temporal differences in formal education. The findings suggest that teenage pregnancy results in a lower accumulation of human capital, manifested in reduced years of schooling. Although the gaps have decreased over time, notable differences persist between regions. The study underscores the importance of implementing comprehensive policies that not only prevent teenage pregnancy but also support the educational continuity of young mothers, aiming to strengthen the country's socioeconomic development.Ítem Aportes desde los Laboratorios Urbanos de Moravia para articular procesos comunitarios y promover acupuntura urbana en barrios autoconstruidos(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Holguín Ramírez, Cielo María; Gutiérrez Rúa, JulianaThis research explores the contributions of Urban Laboratories, developed in the Moravia neighborhood in Medellín, to articulate community processes and to promote Urban Acupuncture in self-built neighborhoods. Urban Acupuncture is defined as a model of urban transformation, through coproductión processes and specific interventions to recover specific areas and stimulate the revitalization of the urban environment in the long term. In the case study of Moravia, different processes of Urban Acupuncture have been analyzed, promoted by the articulation of community processes to Urban Laboratories, which have contributed to the urban transformation and consolidation of the territory. This paper investigates six Urban Laboratories that were formed after the creation of the Centro de Desarrollo Cultural de Moravia in 2007. It describes what criteria they had in common, what tools they have used, what contributions they have made to community processes, and what impact they have generated through Urban Acupuncture projects in the Moravia neighborhood. It provides recommendations or criteria to be taken into account for the development of Urban Laboratories. To this end, a literature review, interviews, mapping exercises, cartography and the installation of an exhibition accompanied by historical photographs of the process were carried out. The results demonstrate the potential of Urban Laboratories to promote Urban Acupuncture projects and sustainable, inclusive transformations in informal contexts, which can serve as a reference of good practices to undertake processes of experimentation and action in self-built contexts with similar characteristics in Colombia, Latin America and the Global South.Ítem Asentamientos informales en manglares : propuesta para una transición socioecológica hacia la sostenibilidad(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Martínez Franco, Diana Carolina; Peñas Arana, María Claudia; Mejía Dugand, SantiagoÍtem La asignación de recursos a los medios alternativos, independientes, comunitarios y ciudadanos de Medellín : actores, política pública y tensión(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Arboleda Gómez, Andrés Esteban; Restrepo Echavarría, Néstor JuliánThe objective of the research is to present an analysis of the Public Policy of the MAICC (Alternative, Independent, Community and Citizen Media of Medellín), based on its actors, background and proposals, seeking to compare the perception of the officials of the mayor's office , as well as leaders of the MAICC.
