    La globalización pone de manifiesto algunos desafíos para las sociedades actuales -- La convivencia interna entre abundancia y escasez es evidente, desborda el enfoque tradicional entre desarrollo y subdesarrollo y mantiene vigente el debate acerca de priorizar crecimiento por encima de desarrollo, o desarrollo en lugar de crecimiento -- Sin embargo, la combinación de buenas prácticas de las diferentes escuelas de desarrollo, junto con el redescubrimiento de enfoques del saber económico, coadyuva a la comprensión de experiencias legítimas basadas en relaciones de proximidad -- Este capital relacional se erige como constante de análisis en la explicación de motivaciones, vínculos e intercambios entre agentes económicos, estatales y sociales -- Este entorno explica el surgimiento de organizaciones que en una actitud de emprendimiento promueven la creación de valor y sostenibilidad para el territorio -- De igual forma, la utilización del término innovación social evidencia la disposición que tiene la sociedad para enfrentar retos que la aquejan, frente a los cuales se construyen respuestas con base en las sinergias antes mencionadas, que integran elementos creativos y participativos. Como es de suponer, cualquier definición de innovación social al igual que cualquier proceso que permita identificarla genera controversia

    Centro Juvenil Salesiano Tejiendo Sueños : propuesta de sostenibilidad, significatividad e innovación social en el barrio la Cecilia de la comuna 3 de Armenia

    The Master's degree in Social Enterprise Management for Social Innovation and Local Development motivates the creation of processes of intervention and social change, through inter-institutional alliances that lead to dialogue in the different sectors of society, creating capacities that allow people to be subject to their own transformation. Thus, starting from this paradigm arises the proposal of the Salesian Youth Center "Tejiendo Sueños" in the city of Armenia (Colombia), as a social innovation initiative favoring the creation of capacities and opportunities in children, adolescents and young people. In this case study, an approach is made to the model of implementation and development of this proposal, taking as reference the postulates of Amartya Sen, Manfred MaxNeef, Martha Nusbaum, the criteria of the UN SDGs and the Social Doctrine of the Church, demonstrating that the processes of social innovation arising in the particular contexts of specific local areas, can generate the means for local development and sustainability. The first chapter provides a general context of the population served in the youth center. The second chapter addresses the management process applied in the initiative and finally, the third chapter, concludes with the experiences learned in the process of implementation and application.

    Elementos para la transformación de un proyecto social a un proyecto de innovación social

    This work conceptually addresses the description of the social project, innovation and social innovation as the basis for the development of the themes. The aim is to recognize and differentiate the scope of the terms, later analyzing social innovation of the case study presented based on the variables defined by Institute ESADE Social Innovation, 2014 (Instituto de innovación social de ESADE, 2014). A social projection program is to be developed by a Higher Education Institution of Medellín (Institución de Educación Superior de Medellín; as a result of this, alternatives will be proposed that contribute to the aforementioned project including other perspectives on the approach, financing, and future expansion. The final result will be the appropriation of elements that facilitate the transformation from just a social project to true social innovation.

    Lineamientos para un modelo de ecosistema de innovación social universitario en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana

    This research is based on the idea that social innovation solves the society challenges through wide participation with all social actors possible to get involved in solving these problems. Universities are a fundamental actor, in the knowledge society, because they have accumulated and concerned scientific knowledge through teaching and research for decades. However, the role of universities has become more active and has begun to develop searches for more intervention in social challenges. At this point, the Social Innovation appears as a possibility to continue developing this functions and serve their capacities to the society. The research starts approach the question of how the academy can participate and promote the Innovation Social processes. Given the above, this research takes the PUJ (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana) as a reference to understand how, with the framework of serving society and influencing socio-environmental challenges, the innovation ecosystem operates and if said ecosystem has innovation social traits. In this case study, we proceed to compare the PUJ Model ecosystem with another university ecosystem proposed by the Tuning Latin America Project called ISUR (Responsible University Social Innovation). After the comparative exercise, we proceed to investigate inside PUJ, through self-assessment exercise and interview, the level of social innovation capacity that the Institution has. Finally, we proceed to provide some key guidelines so that the current PUJ Model can develop main elements to become increasingly an social innovation ecosystem.

    Based on the theoretical background, the imagination of social managers about the concept of social innovation and social participation is deficient in the interventions with communities. Through the analysis of social innovation and participation concepts, applied to social companies, this project proposed a practical methodology to boot social innovation and participation. It aims to use dialogue and workshop exercises, to promote information exchange, collective construction of ideas, and community empowerment in decision-making.

    La participación ciudadana y la gestión del desarrollo local son dos asuntos que están enmarcados en las nuevas tendencias de la gestión pública contemporánea, por tanto atraen el interés de los gobiernos y comunidades locales por encontrar nuevas vías para fortalecer los resultados de intervención -- El presente estudio además de hacer un recuento de algunos conceptos que respaldan estas posturas, hace un énfasis en el caso de la comuna 6 Doce de Octubre, permitiendo detectar, los efectos de la gestión participativa del desarrollo en las decisiones públicas de manera progresista durante el periodo 2012-2015 y como estos fueron ocasionados por nuevas tipologías y condiciones organizacionales establecidas por los actores del territorio, permitiendo una reflexión sobre rasgos de comportamiento, logros y limitaciones a la hora de intervenir el desarrollo en territorios a escala submunicipal desde una construcción social
