Ítem Criterios sobre el espacio en la compra de vivienda nueva para familias con mascota(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) López Obando, Estefanía; Muñoz Molina, YaromirDue to the pet ownership increase in Colombian homes in the last years, this industry has had an important development in categories such as food, accessories, day cares, restaurants, spas, funeral services, joy and fun, and beauty, among others. The emotional bond between people and their pets has evolved along time, bringing with them the demands of new in shopping malls, restaurants and public zones from pet owners. The objective of this investigation was to identify the criteria of a pet owner family when is buying a new house, starting from their demands about open spaces for interaction. For this, a secondary source of information analysis was made, with the purpose of knowing the actual trends in the pet market and the transformation that they've had inside society. This descriptive study of qualitative nature has been made with buyers from Bambú, Teka, Zapán, Matiz and Siena, which are housing projects, built by Núcleo Constructora in Ciudad Natura in the city of Dosquebradas (Risaralda). The results of this study are relevant for the planning of new housing projects that can adapt to the needs and demands of actual families, that in general tend to be smaller and to have pets at home. It is fundamental to acknowledge the collected data that it is obtained by direct interaction with real users, thus giving an easier interpretation, but never forgetting the correct way of scaling the information to get usable data. By focusing these tools on one of the fastest growing market segments in recent years, pets and animal care, it is expected to be able to create a business model without paradigms, that will let us be part of this sector, have a differentiated product with growth projection, and record the process and the results obtained in this degree project. The objective is to understand, analyze, and describe how humans perceive their pets as living beings that go beyond their animal condition. This is accomplished by giving them human qualities through the establishment of an affective bond in the human-animal relationship. To achieve this goal, we collected information and data from a simple random sample of 219 participants surveyed through an ad hoc questionnaire. We approached the domestication of animals and the process of pet humanization subjectively using certain conceptual referents of psychology, history, and culture associated with pet ownership and care. First the strategic orientation of the company was defined, followed by an analysis of its external situation considering the variables that can affect any entrepreneurship in the country as well as the categories included within pet products, then the size of the market and the segment to which the brand is directed were analyzed; Finally, the internal variables were analyzed to understand the company's strengths and weaknesses. Based on the initial information about the internal and external environment of the company, the objective to position Biscuitto as a natural, conscious and close brand was proposed, aiming to achieve recognition in 10% of its target audience in the city of Medellín within 8 months, and it was sought to achieve it through various strategies, the first one is to create a content marketing strategy that manages to convert and retain potential customers, the second strategy is to give more visibility to the brand and its products in both physical and digital environments according to the consumption habits of potential customers and tactics, both digital and offline. Also, a schedule and budget projected for one year were proposed. The objective is to gain a deep understanding of this therapy and its effects on children with ASD. A qualitative approach will be used to collect data through techniques such as semi – estructured interviews. The population of interest will include children with ASD, professionals, and primary caregivers in the Antioquia región. Nonprobabilistic sampling will be employed to select the simple. The research flindings will provide relevant information about the benefits and factors that influnce animal – assited therapy in this population.Ítem Vivencias que se evidencian en la familia a raíz de la tenencia de mascotas en un grupo de familias de la ciudad de Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2020) Brand Rodríguez, Lorena; Echeverri Álvarez, JonathanIn recent years, a trend towards the adoption of pets has been growing, according to a study carried out in 2019 by the market research company BrandStrat, six out of ten households in Colombia have at least one pet. This study aims to explore the relationship that exists between pets and families; To meet this objective, a qualitative research was carried out, in which seven families residing in the city of Medellín, belonging to different socioeconomic strata, were interviewed, the ages of the interviewees, men and women, ranged between 18 and 43 years. From this study it is understood that pets have become a fundamental pillar within the homes to which they are linked and they become part of the family as one more member of the family nucleus, as does a son, a brother, a grandchild.
