Due to their knowledge, experience, capabilities and skills, it is easy for them to change jobs whenever they consider it necessary, usually when their current job does not meet their expectations. One of the main factors for the high turnover of IT staff in organizations is salary compensation combined with benefits such as remote work, work-life balance, professional growth, training, among others. High staff turnover affects the productivity of companies. Additionally, recruiters are in constant competition to make very tentative offers to IT specialists to get them to quit their current jobs, since it is difficult to find replacements who are unemployed, hiring can take months and has high costs, including training, project delays, and the challenge of keeping the new hire happy so that they stay in the company for at least a year and the investment can be justified. Now Optics is an American company that uses telemedicine in one of its business lines. This implies having a large IT department, made up of engineers from different countries. Therefore, it seeks to identify strategies that help IT leaders and human management to keep these specialists stable and committed to their work.
