Ítem Creación y captura de valor en la innovación abierta aportes del trabajo colaborativo entre la universidad y la empresa en Medellín(Universidad EAFIT, 2022) Jiménez Rojas, Maria de los Ángeles; Vásquez Jiménez, Carlos FedericoOpen innovation has been a process that has occurred intrinsically in developed countries with knowledge-based economies. The collaboration of different actors in the innovation systems permits companies to respond faster to the demand of new challenges and to create and capture value to gain a competitive advantage. In Latin America, open innovation has been implemented recently to strengthen regional innovation systems. Medellin, Colombia, has gained particular interest as an innovation case study, and this city seeks to consolidate itself as the capital of innovation in Latin America. Medellin has several organizations that work together for innovation as a key for economic growth. However, the collaborative work between university and industry (U-I) is not wide enough as expected for different reasons (Ortega y Serna, 2020). In this regard, OECD has recommended that the city must enhance the partnership between universities and enterprises to create and preserve added value (OECD, 2015). This Qualitative research of collective cases allows to know the collaborations, the involved actors and analyzing how to create and capture value on innovation, but also, the value can be captured by the physical and intangible resources such as knowledge. This promote developing of organizational capabilities, within organizational learning orchestrated by technology and knowledge transfer. This research shows the interest of different actors that make up the innovation system of Medellin, other systems, and companies that have not participated in this kind of collaboration. Companies and universities that have done these interactions should communicate them, contributing to creating and capturing value as an innovation objective.Ítem Estrategia para la creación de conocimiento interorganizacional en los procesos de innovación abierta(Universidad Eafit, 2020) Jaramillo Vélez, Daniela; Henao Calad, MónicaIn an environment where knowledge abounds, where innovative ideas and critical knowledge for innovation is found outside the organization, it is necessary to involve external knowledge and ideas in order to diversify and grow the organizational knowledge base, and apply it within the organization for actual business development and innovation (Chesbrough, 2003). Open innovation emerges as the response to the new knowledge dynamics, which forces organizations to change their management systems and focus on knowledge management inside and outside the firm, a task that hasn’t been easy because of the challenges that implies. This research aims to understand the real business dynamics of open innovation, identify the knowledge gaps to successfully carry out these projects and have an academic perspective that covers the knowledge gaps and the solution to the current barriers that arise in these projects, in order to propose a strategy for the creation of organizational knowledge in open innovation projects.Ítem La invención patentada en Colombia entre 1900 y 1924(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Ramírez Patiño, Sandra Patricia; Giraldo Ramírez, Jorge Alberto de JesúsÍtem Marco de trabajo para la generación de innovación entre la organización y sus grupos de interés(Universidad Eafit, 2020) Giraldo Giraldo, Deisy Yolima; Giraldo Yepes, Sara Milena; Osorio Montoya, Bárbara PatriciaThe superior purpose of an organization must be framed in the sustainability and competitiveness of the business, seeking to stay over time, responding to the needs of the market; To achieve this, it is necessary for the organization to generate synergies and establish cooperative relationships with its stakeholders that lead to the generation of innovation. It is observed that the relationship between the different actors is a fragile aspect in the innovation ecosystem in Colombia (ANDI, 2018); For this reason, the object of this research is to propose a framework for generating innovation between the organization and its stakeholders. The research is addressed through an exploration of literature to identify the approaches, perspectives and trends around innovation between the organization and its stakeholders; and is complemented by an exploratory study in Colombian organizations. The result of the research gave way to the definition of the framework for the generation of innovation among the organization with its stakeholders, this framework is made up of elements that give dynamism and mobility, where general elements emerge: environment, organization , relationships and governance, process, knowledge and human talent, made up of some particular elements, among them some that should be given and others that could be considered according to the needs of the organization. In addition to the generation of innovation, absorption and dissemination dimensions emerge that complement it and may be part of subsequent studies.
