    The purpose of this document is to demonstrate that the implementation of compensation policies and programs in organizations through the area of human management involves the execution of different strategies through which not only the worker is compensated but, as proposed below, will determine the permanence intentions in this case of workers who hold middle management positions in a company in the industrial sector; Likewise, through this research we will see how these coexist and develop with other policies and factors that play a leading role in the area such as staff retention, motivation and benefits. A perspective is addressed that is aimed at continuing to promote the human management area as a strategic partner of management, based on the fact that workers are the most important part of the organization and at the same time receiving through the information collection method used. valuable data that shows that compensation must be in accordance with the particular needs of the worker; This does not necessarily imply a greater financial expense but rather an in-depth study and analysis to understand its significance.     Iniciativas para capturar sinergias en una empresa multinegocio

    This qualitative study aims to prioritize synergy initiatives for Interpesaje S.A. and Laboratorios de Metrologia Sigma S.A.S., two businesses that are part of a multi-business company in the industrial sector in Colombia. The senior management of the multi-business company hopes to capture synergies between its business through joint management, to ensure constant growth, greater participation in target markets, a long-term diversification strategy and greater benefits for its shareholders. To identify possible synergy initiatives, documentary review, interviews and focus groups were used as data collection techniques. To analyze the data, matrices in Excel were built to facilitate the process of classifying the identified synergy opportunities between business. Finally, the synergies proposed by managers from different areas of the different business were prioritized, which will facilitate the implementation of the initiatives to capture the expected synergies. This document will not only facilitate corporate decision-making related to capturing synergies, but even the postulation of future corporate strategies.

    The Internet of Things (IoT) has been growing rapidly in the past few years, generating a great amount of applications in different economic sectors, which can be implemented in any Company and any place in the world. Its advantages can’t be denied, nevertheless there are still a few topics and concerns about security and a possible unemployment issue due to the fact that these things can replace human labor for machines or things that can make the same work even more effective. Through an exploratory and descriptive analysis this paper tends to give a context about the tendencies and the evolution of IoT solutions in the past few years. Likewise, identifies the different trends in these kinds of solutions, especially in Colombia, to analyze the problems and advantages companies will have to deal with. Throughout this essay will be introduced situations, cases and explanatory examples, that will let us identify the benefits and dares found during implementing this type of solution.
