    The purpose of this research was to identify the characteristics of affective development in a group of children between 5 and 6 years of age who are under the protection and protection of the Elena and Juan Corporation located in Envigado (Ant.). It was carried out from a qualitative approach and was a hermeneutic study, with a group of children between 5 and 6 years old who are part of the institution. For the collection of the information, individual interviews, projective techniques linked to drawing and participant observation were used for several months. From there they could identify the impacts that the Corporation has on the emotional development of children, the ways in which the link with the members of the same is built and the attachment figures that emerge from this relationship.
