The objective of this work is to create a database in Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic that contains the current cost of materials and the quantity required for each activity. This template will allow tracking of the actual execution compared to the planned execution, analyzing the performance of labor and materials, whether they were executed more or less than anticipated. For the purpose of this work, the tool is implemented with a housing construction project in the municipality of Bello, carried out by the company CITIANDO SAS. For this project, we would focus on the financial viability provided by financial and economic indicators, establishing minimum policies and conducting both technical and financial analysis. In the case of this construction project, both the builder and the investor can use the tool to assess the financial viability of the initiative. By inputting the estimated construction costs and projected income, the financial model can determine if the project is economically feasible. Additionally, other factors such as construction timelines, operating expenses, and expected cash flows can be considered. The use of these tools can provide a clear view of the project's financial situation, enabling informed decisions regarding its viability. If the model's results indicate that the project can generate the expected returns and meet the established budgets, construction can proceed. On the other hand, if the results indicate that the project is not financially viable, budget reconsideration or alternative options may be necessary.

This research evaluated the susceptibility to landslides using the Natural Slopes Methodology (MTN), in order to identify the stability of the terrain in critical areas of the El Vallano village, Astilleros sector, Municipality of Envigado, Antioquia. The research, of a descriptive and applied nature, used the MTN proposed by Tomás Shuk, which correlates geomorphological parameters such as height and length of slopes to estimate their stability in complex terrain and with limited primary information. The study showed a progressive deterioration in the stability of the slopes, with an increase in the number classified as high susceptibility over long time horizons. This pattern is attributed to factors such as erosion, soil saturation, climatic variations and unregulated human activities. Likewise, due to uncontrolled runoff, which has been linked to previous surface landslides. Based on these findings, slope stabilization in Vereda El Vallano requires a comprehensive approach that combines advanced technical solutions and principles of environmental sustainability. The proper management of surface and subsurface water emerges as a fundamental pillar, highlighting the use of strategically located drainage systems and bioengineering techniques, such as the incorporation of phytoremediation species and living barriers. These measures not only reduce soil saturation and strengthen its shear resistance, but also contribute to mitigating the risks associated with landslides, promoting long-term geotechnical stability.

(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Lotero Carvajal, Carolina; Builes Brand, Manuel
Identification of geotechnical characteristics and definition of the calculation of corrosion rate in buried metallic structures following the Romanoff calculation method accompanied by the validation of the FHWA standard where resistivity and PH are the main characteristics. In the design of metallic structures supporting solar panels, the useful life of the structures ranges from 20 to 25 years, time in which the guarantee should be covered both against environmental corrosion and subway corrosion.
