    This study develops a financial model to assess the economic impact of regenerative livestock farming in sustainable development projects in Colombia. Through Monte Carlo simulations, traditional and regenerative livestock models are compared, analyzing key variables such as the monthly and annual internal rates of return (IRR) and the net present value (NPV). The results indicate that regenerative livestock farming offers higher returns and financial stability compared to the traditional model, with a positive NPV in all analyzed scenarios. However, the regenerative model exhibits greater volatility, highlighting the need for risk mitigation strategies. The research emphasizes the importance of risk appetite in decision-making, suggesting that investors with a moderate to aggressive profile may benefit more from this sustainable approach.
