This trend brings many challenges to understand its implementation and function in the internal processes of the company and its role in external processes, to bring the value proposition to the benefit of the consumer. The tourism industry is no stranger to these new digital transformation strategies. Being one of the most important industries worldwide, it must be aligned with these advances, because the consumer of a global industry expects them to be available anywhere and under any situation. Therefore, in this research, we will use a qualitative methodology supported by in-depth interview techniques, where we analyze the barriers to implement digital transformation strategies in tourism companies in the city of Medellin and propose routes to reduce them and contribute to the implementation. and digitization, according to the expectations of your competitive environment.Ítem Diseño de un modelo de negocio para vivienda estudiantil en la ciudad de Pereira y propuesta de una hoja de ruta estratégica para su ejecución(Universidad EAFIT, 2024) Toro Duque, Julián David; Rozo Villegas, AlejandroThis work focused on designing a student housing business model in Pereira city within the area of influence close to the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira (UTP) following the theory of Osterwalder & Pigneur (2011) and other authors of the strategy. Initially, information is collected based on surveys and interviews, providing a clear view of the market. Then the business model canvas was used to identify the key components, the environment was analyzed thanks to the contrast between Porter's forces (2008) and the forces of the proposed model and a SWOT(Osterwalder & Pigneur, 2011; Maroto, 2007) analysis was carried out evaluating the internal and external factors that affect the model. All this in order to propose a strategic roadmap for the implementation of the project. This work provides bases to apply business model theories from a real entrepreneurship case. The methodology is to analyze the competition of the company, therefore within the sector was through the 5 forces of Porter, to develop strategies to enter the construction sector. The macro and microenvironment are also analyzed, resulting in some elements needed to know the changes in the industry and their influences on the daily operations of the company.
