In addition, it will make an analysis about how the Law has been implemented institutionally and if the advances created have materialized two years after its entry into force. The emotional bond between people and their pets has evolved along time, bringing with them the demands of new in shopping malls, restaurants and public zones from pet owners. The objective of this investigation was to identify the criteria of a pet owner family when is buying a new house, starting from their demands about open spaces for interaction. For this, a secondary source of information analysis was made, with the purpose of knowing the actual trends in the pet market and the transformation that they've had inside society. This descriptive study of qualitative nature has been made with buyers from Bambú, Teka, Zapán, Matiz and Siena, which are housing projects, built by Núcleo Constructora in Ciudad Natura in the city of Dosquebradas (Risaralda). The results of this study are relevant for the planning of new housing projects that can adapt to the needs and demands of actual families, that in general tend to be smaller and to have pets at home. Taking into consideration that pets are now considered active members in the families, demands of space are higher and the conception of the zones for living and interacting with pets inside and outside of the house become to play a fundamental role in the house buying decision taking.Ítem Derecho de propiedad y protección a la mujer y a la familia. Even if both the Colombian Constitution and legislation have made steps towards the recognition of family diversity, there still is a major legal gap when it comes to poliamorous families. These gaps directly affect the rights of children, since it is only legally allowed for their recognition from two parents, limiting their access to law based protection, legal parentage, child support and parental authority. Also, it is suggested that a necessity exists for a reform in Colombian legislation to include poliamorous families within legal frames following the examples of other countries where significant steps have been taken towards the recognition of multi-parenthood. These reforms should be centered around the principle of the superior interest of the child, guaranteeing that all the adults that perform a parental role in a child’s life can be legally recognized and assume equal responsibilities. It is proposed that mechanisms such as the widening of the concept of family to include more than two parents within it, the legal recognition of cohabitation agreements and the creation of inclusive laws that adapt to new family realities. Conceptual frame of reference: It deals with the definition and generalities of the social representations, how a social representation is constructed, which composes the social representations, the general concept that different authors have constructed, the social representations that the young couples have built on the family. Method: qualitative-descriptive case study based on a semi-structured interview with four young couples in the city of Medellín, Colombia. Results: The data obtained allowed us to understand that the family has an important role as the basis of society, where the dynamics vary according to the upbringing obtained and where responsibilities are delimited for each member, fundamental in the development of character and personality of the people, besides being the first social group where they initiate the social interaction of the human being. What happens with the family has a direct impact on society and, therefore, society, and in it the state, must necessarily think of the family. For its part, domestic violence is, and has been, a cultural phenomenon that attracts the attention of people who focus on work and social concern; although it can be said that it is immersed in society, it cannot be accepted that it continues to occur. For this reason, the authors of this work have focused on domestic violence, in the case of Rionegro -Ant.- because with it they want, while deepening their knowledge, to provide elements that allow a greater and better understanding in the search for alternatives that minimize and solve it. On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that, in the manifestation of domestic violence, the victim, the victimizer and the family commissioner converge, among other actors; in the actions of these actors, it is necessary to bear in mind the protection measures, the protocols of attention and the way in which the solution, mitigation and reduction of this phenomenon is sought. This is the focus of this work and it is intended to contribute, specifically for the Municipality of Rionegro.
