Ítem Incidencia del factor psicosocial en la materialización del riesgo de fraude corporativo(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Giraldo Arango, Mateo; Morales Múnera, Lucas; Manrique Tisnés, HoracioThis research sought to make an analysis of the elements that can be associated with the behaviors and actions of people exposed to situations related to fraud, focus on the it’s corporate component. The above, identifying the main theoretical models on which a large component of the findings around fraud are supported, contrasting the fraudulent actions of the individual with what is proposed from the causal axes of the psychic and linking the evidence that in this order, through the interviews we were able to find as common elements in cases around the fraud. The great question of this study is: are there common and evident aspects, from the mental and social aspects of the individual fraudster, that allow through their observation, to anticipate situations of corporate fraud? To answer this, we approach the research from a qualitative approach, with information gathering through interviews with eleven semi-structured interviews with business administrators (5), a lawyer (1) and people directly linked to fraud cases (5) to, with these facts, to determinate factors and motivations related to the individual’s environment that influence their actions. We have come across events in the human nature, the fraud itself becomes a conscious and premeditated decision that is constructed given an special circumstances; this is how organizational fraud cannot be understood as an exclusive environment of internal controls, codes, processes and standards. This research revealed particularities in the responses of the interviewees regarding the risk of fraud within the companies, this information could be compiled by units of meaning, which obey a hierarchical order, comprised in Supracategories, Categories and Subcategories. All this information with the corresponding analysis will be expanded in the bulk of this document.Ítem Percepción de vulnerabilidad social en grupo de mujeres embarazadas del Barrio Villa Sofía, Robledo - Medellín(2018) Zuluaga Tavera, Yesenia; Gálvez Ortíz, Claudia AlejandraThis study was carried out in 2018 as a graduation requirement for obtaining a degree in Psychology from EAFIT University in Medellin -- It is a conceptual approach of social vulnerability considering the impact of extreme economic, social and environmental events on people and communities. To identify the impact of telecommuting as a form of labor flexibility on the psychosocial dimension, performance, and organizational culture among telecommuters in Colombia. Method: A quantitative exploratory cross-sectional study was conducted using convenience sampling through a structured web-based self-report questionnaire. A total of 262 valid questionnaires were collected. Results: The data obtained suggest that telecommuting tends to have a particularly positive impact on the more individual aspects of telecommuters, reflected in performance and the subjective psychosocial dimension, while collective or social components that require the presence of others such as culture and the more social factors of the psychosocial dimension showed a tendency towards a greater negative impact of telecommuting, although they were also classified with a sufficient percentage to be considered as having a positive impact of telecommuting overall. Conclusions: Work as a human phenomenon, humans as social beings, and the vital role of social relationships in work warn of telecommuting as a spatial labor flexibility modality that tends to isolate and individualize collective goals into smaller or individual nuclei. Understanding the nature of telecommuting through the lens of humans as social beings allows for addressing and anticipating phenomena that go against human nature, with consequences for both workers and the organizations they comprise.
