Ítem "Administración", "organización (y "empresa"): un intento de acotación semántica(Universidad EAFIT, 2005) López Gallego, Francisco; Universidad EAFITÍtem Análisis del sindicalismo colombiano desde la Teoría de la Agencia(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Zapata Cruz, Juan Pablo; Villa Restrepo, SantiagoThe defense of the rights and interests of workers in Colombia, through the exercise of labor union associations, may have direct implications on social interaction, pro-ductive capacity and quality of life in the country. When these effects are not consid-ered, the workers and their leaders in labor union associations denaturalize the es-sence and teleology of syndicalism, and consequently its development generates negative outcomes for the intervening parts of the collective negotiation and for the society understood as a whole. The reasons why these effects are verified can be understood though the Agency Theory, which allows to break down the way in which unionized workers behave for the common defense of their rights and interest in the Colombian context.Ítem El constitucionalismo, la política y los tributos en el último siglo.(2016-01-01) Arango, Ivan DarioEste artículo sobre el constitucionalismo, la política y los tributos en el último siglo, busca una reflexión sobre las relaciones sociales en el último siglo que han permitido en el Estado y la Constitución Política la adaptación al desarrollo de las cosPublicación Contratos de colaboración empresarial para la ejecución de proyectos en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2025) Arroyave Montoya, Jhonatan Darío; Henao Arango, María CeciliaBusiness collaboration contracts have different legal regimes, some of which are regulated by Colombian legislation, which are called typical contracts, and others are regulated by Decrees or agreements or are perfected by the simple fact of having the signature of the parties interested in making the contract, which are called atypical. Collaboration between organizations, whether public or private, has a wide range of options to choose the type of contract that best suits them, according to the project to be executed and each of these has the possibility of adapting to the circumstances or needs of the parties. The Commercial Code presents a different vision of the legal business, than the Civil Code, in terms of the criteria and classification of the legal act, which has led the commercial legislator to adopt theories or propose to improve or update some of the rules and laws that exist in the area. Business collaboration contracts are used to develop specific and temporary activities or tasks, which do not have the intention of becoming a permanent commercial partnership, but rather seek to execute large-scale projects, for which it is necessary to minimize risks, in addition to the advantages that come with aspects such as sharing knowledge, technology, assets, tools, machinery and services, among others, with those who meet the proposed objective, which is to complete the work for which they formed the alliance. The case study analyzes an infrastructure project, with the Public-Private Partnership contract, PP.P, which is a model of linking private capital to execute public structures, taking into account the need of the State to offer goods and services for the benefit of the community. The PP.P contract was regulated in the Colombian legal system, under Law 1508 of 2012, in which it is configured as a type of contractual relationship for large-scale works that are executed between the state and private companies. As public initiatives, the formulating entity is responsible for clearly and in detail defining the essential elements for an investment project, such as the community's interest in the project, the needs of the population impacted by the project, the strategies to satisfy them, the objectives and goals. All of this is done in an accurate assessment of the economic, environmental and social benefits that it generates, both for the community and for the state. For these reasons, the state entity must make an adequate analysis of technical alternatives and transactional schemes, in order to achieve the proposed objectives, taking into account everything that involves the affected population and not only the advantages and benefits that the project brings to the nation. This stage is developed with the participation of community representatives, professionals in different disciplines for the awareness stage, their governors, experts with experience in similar projects, companies and entities that are part of the APP and other entities that can make contributions in this phase, since any detailed study or additional information will always help each of these activities to be as truthful as possible, as a way to reduce the risks so that the tasks that have to be executed in the next one are more accurate, that is, so that there are no traumas or unforeseen events that affect the continuity and progress of the project. The APP La Dorada - Chiriguaná project has been executed in compliance with the structuring stages and advancing in the selection process of the successful bidder, so it is essential to ensure transparency and efficiency in the selection stage and the subsequent awarding of the contract to guarantee the success of the project in its implementation phase. It has been necessary to make changes to the schedule due to the high complexity of the project structure, which has been an opportunity for private parties interested in participating to make observations on the specifications that have been incorporated with clear rules for participants in each of the stages of the process.Ítem Criterios A.S.G. en Colombia(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Vásquez Sánchez, Daniela; Pineda López, Juliana Andrea; Toro Valencia, José Alberto; Araujo Henao, MelisaThe E.S.G. criteria are a set of practices mostly used in the corporate and financial guild, they promote responsible and sustainable decision making in environmental, social and corporate governance areas; the development of these criteria comes from the international arena, where different organizations, during the last years, have made a call to the nations to take measures against the lack of responsibility in terms of sustainability of today's society. Therefore, different reports, declarations, agreements and treaties have been made where different nations are committed to sustainability; for this reason, the importance of corporations for the achievement of these objectives should be highlighted, this has been evidenced in the intention to link companies in different ways both internationally and transnationally.Ítem El deber de dar fin a la pobreza : también, responsabilidad social de la empresa : un análisis ético(Universidad EAFIT, 2023) Quintero Meza, Tomás; Gallego García, Gloria MaríaA pesar de que hoy en día existen compromisos y deberes de tipo moral, político y jurídico tendientes a dar fin a la pobreza, es vital profundizar en el deber moral de justicia de las empresas a contribuir a este objetivo haciendo énfasis en los valores de dignidad humana y libertad, en atención al desarrollo humano, la promoción de capacidades y no solo la satisfacción de necesidades básicas, bajo el fundamento que las empresas son agentes morales con una vocación social. This study aims to identify variables influencing business survival at the departmental level and analyze how institutional, social, and economic factors affect this phenomenon. Using data from the Unique Business and Social Registry (RUES) of the Colombian Chambers of Commerce Confederation and the Departmental Competitiveness Index of the Private Council of Competitiveness, statistical methods such as the Kaplan-Meier estimator and regressions with departmental fixed effects are applied to examine the influence of different variables on the departmental rate of business survival, distinguishing by economic sectors and company sizes. It is found that business survival rates in Colombia decrease from 66.1% in the first year to 29.5% in the sixth year, but there are significant disparities between departmental rates. The influence of various indicators and institutional, infrastructure, and human capital factors, as well as the business environment and the financial system on departmental rates of business survival, varies according to the size and sector of the companies. Through public policies that impact these factors, it is possible to influence business survival rates. However, it is suggested that certain public policies aimed at addressing economic and social issues may negatively affect business survival rates as a collateral effect, without this having negative repercussions on economic development, since this rate may experience declines in the midst of processes of creative destruction.Ítem La dinámica de las empresas y la política Industrial(Universidad EAFIT, 15/07/1998) Moreno, Julio Cesar; Universidad de ChihuahuaÍtem Diversidad e inclusión en los procesos de atracción y selección : protocolo de intervención organizacional basado en ciencias del comportamiento(Universidad EAFIT, 2021) Murillo Mendoza, Jenniffer Jeannette; Muñoz Zapata, Juliana Milena; Plaza Chavarria, Isabel Cristina; González González, ManuelaIntroduction: Diversity and inclusion (D&I) are organizational challenges due to the gap between intentions and behaviors. To meet the established objectives, research was carried out to establish a framework for study and analysis of the different dimensions of labor well-being that must be considered when the work mechanism includes teleworking, whether in full-time or part-time mode. Once a clear conceptual framework was defined, a study was carried out with a quantitative approach through a survey that would allow collecting information on the perception of an established population group regarding the variables that would analyze the 9 dimensions for an evaluation model of the impact of the teleworking in occupational well-being. People from different types of companies within the ICT sector in Bogotá – Colombia participated in this survey. The results obtained through the analysis of the survey data made it possible to identify key aspects of the impact of teleworking on work well-being, such as some aspects being more relevant for women and men, and where they stand out as aspects with greater alteration due to the teleworking, interpersonal relationships, work overload and occupational illnesses. The analysis of the different dimensions opens the door to subsequent research that allows the impact and possible paths to remedy the effects of teleworking on workplace well-being to be measured in detail.Ítem Private resources governance to public destination(Universidad EAFIT, 2019-08-03) Fernández, Diana; Eslava, Adolfo; Arango, Camilo; Gestión Social,Grupo SURA.
