Guía de eficiencia energética en proyectos
(Universidad EAFIT, 2026-05-25) Orozco Agudelo, César Augusto; Gómez Salazar, Elkin Arcesio
This document aims to guide the energy efficiency of systems and equipment commonly used in transportation infrastructure and its associated buildings, with the objective of contributing to the sustainability, viability, and long-term viability of this infrastructure. This will result in an improved quality of life for both those who use these systems and those who interact with their surroundings, reducing the environmental footprint generated to meet mobility needs. Based on the National Policy for Sustainable Buildings, this guide aligns with the commitments made in the international sustainable development agenda, particularly regarding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with an emphasis on Goal 11 on sustainable cities and communities and Goal 12 on ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns. The aim is to identify aspects that are consistent with international guidelines and current national regulations. The aspects identified in this document focus on transportation system infrastructure, given their intended purpose of guiding the structuring, planning, construction, and operation phases. Likewise, this document establishes best engineering practices that reduce electricity consumption, thereby lowering the costs associated with the various devices that enable the proper functioning of transportation infrastructure.
