    Alternativas para lograr la viabilidad financiera de los Sistemas Integrados de Transporte Masivo en Colombia

    The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) has been gaining importance in the main capitals of Latin America like a solution to the mobility of large cities -- These BRT has implicit a set of social and environmental benefits that have motivated leaders to encourage these initiatives within their city proposals -- However, the organized systems in Colombia have returned to a problem due to inadequate structuring when the concession contracts were conceived and awarded -- As a consequence of this, a challenge for future projects will be related to its financing -- The objective of this paper is to recommend elements that make those initiatives fundable, improving the resources and interests of the players -- The methodology is a bibliographical reference, seeking another’s options that have been implemented in other cities -- Furthermore, it requires an analysis of the Colombian situation of massive transportation from the financial point of view, understanding those elements that should be considered in the structuring of contracts

    Análisis de factibilidad de la construcción del "Hotel Campestre Balcones Villa del Río” en el Municipio de Andes, Antioquia

    In the present work, to do a feasibility study using the ONUDI methodology about the viability of the construction of a country hotel in the municipality of Andes was determined. To achieve this, a sectoral and strategic analysis, and a study of market, technical, environmental, organizational, economic-financial, legal and budgetary were carried out. With this study it was confirmed that the project meets all the financial, technical, legal, and environmental requirements necessary for its proper implementation and start-up. The main limitation in the development of the work was that most of the information available on the behavior of the hotel sector is from before the pandemic, for which it is recommended to carry out a more in-depth analysis on the possible behavior of the hotel sector after the pandemic. However, as a contingency measure, in the present work the growth of the years 2020 - 2021 was not considered, but rather the occupancy estimate jumped directly from 2019 to 2022. Finally, it is concluded that the project is financially viable, with an TIR that exceeds the return expected by the investor by 18.294% and a VAN of $ 2,472,185,232, in the first five years. The risk analysis indicates that the project has a low risk, since the probabilities of having a negative TIR or VPN for the project are less than 0.1%.

    Análisis de factibilidad de la unificación de las plantas de Retrabajables y Notejidos de la empresa Fabricato S.A.

    En este trabajo se analiza la factibilidad de la fusión de dos de las plantas productivas de la empresa Fabricato, Retrabajables y Notejidos -- Para llevar a cabo este análisis se parte de una revisión macro del por qué y para qué de las fusiones, no solo a nivel de compañías sino al interior de la empresa, se analizan los estudios y antecedentes respecto a este tema, realizados por anteriores administraciones mediante contratos con compañías extranjeras de amplia trayectoria y credibilidad a nivel mundial -- Posteriormente se revisan los flujogramas y procesos productivos de las dos plantas, las cantidades producidas y vendidas de los diferentes productos y las necesidades de maquinaria; hallando similitudes importantes, luego se analiza la ubicación geográfica y las implicaciones de operar en dos instalaciones separadas, encontrando unas sinergias que cuantificadas permiten llegar a cifras de ahorros y ventajas económicas que dan elementos de juicio para concluir si se recomienda a la empresa un proyecto de fusión con las ventajas de los nuevos costos involucrados

    Análisis de factibilidad de un proyecto de autogeneración eléctrica fotovoltaica en Colombia para áreas productivas menores de 10.000 m²

    La energía solar fotovoltaica es reconocida a nivel mundial como una fuente renovable, con bajo impacto ambiental y con costos menores comparados con otras fuentes de energía -- A nivel de Colombia, las condiciones geográficas son favorables para esta tecnología y esta es beneficiaria de estímulos gubernamentales como la Ley 1715 del 2014; sin embargo, en Colombia no ha tenido una amplia utilización -- En el presente trabajo se hace un análisis de factibilidad por metodología ONUDI para un proyecto de autogeneración con energía solar fotovoltaica en una organización simulada -- El análisis se hace simulando la evaluación de un proyecto de autogeneración con energía solar fotovoltaica para producir 1.000.000 de kWh por año -- La factibilidad se hace para una organización que cuente con 10.000 m2 de techos capaces de soportar los equipos necesarios y que requiera consumir la mayor parte de la energía generada en el mismo lugar donde esta se genera -- Se pretende evaluar la factibilidad en las condiciones actuales y también se simula evaluación financiera incorporando algunos factores que han tenido impacto positivo en otros países, en los proyectos de autogeneración con energía solar fotovoltaica, donde puede llegar percibirse como buen negocio para los consumidores de energía eléctrica y promover de esta manera su utilización en Colombia

    Análisis de factibilidad para la prestación del servicio de alimentación en los Programas Escolares en Panamá

    In order to determine the opening of a new operation of the Creser Group and search for its international expansion, a proposed guideline for carrying out a feasibility study was examined and analyzed. With the application of the method, in addition to knowledge about school feeding programs in Colombia (PAE) and active participant as a food service provider, the search for growth to be a provider in similar initiatives for other governments in neighboring countries is an ambitious projection -- Among the measures that the Colombian Ministry of Education has to improve the conditions of children and adolescents enrolled in public institutions, a strategy is implemented which involves the creation of a school feeding program for these assistants -- Its main objective is to strengthen their permanence in school; in addition to improving their living conditions to those in vulnerable areas by improving their learning ability through the provision of a food supplement -- In Colombia, school feeding programs have allowed the prioritization and targeting of vulnerable populations: indigenous, victims of armed conflict, and others with nutritional and / or socio-economic vulnerability -- PAE's efforts are centered on two focuses: the selection of educational institutions according to geographical location and level of education is whether it is preschool, primary or secondary; in the other hand, is the selection of beneficiaries goes in accordance with the factors before -- The country is not the only one in Latin America implementing this type of program -- The initiative expands to all countries in the region with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations -- Its main purposes are the eradication of hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition, where the government of each country plays an important role in the development of these objectives, towards a sustainable management of resources such as land, water, air, etc. for future generations. (FAO, 2017) -- Countries like Brazil, Guatemala, Ecuador, Salvador, are already part of this -- It is intended that other countries implement these types of plans that align with the dream that has been drawn by FAO of Latin America and the Caribbean without Hunger 2025 -- Creser Group, with more than eight years of experience in providing food services through school restaurants in different educational institutions in Colombia as one of the government's suppliers in the PAE, is a business group made up of private economy companies such as: Alimentarte Foundation, Nutriser Colombia and Natulpan; the excellent operation of the program has given it recognitions that make it one of the most important groups in the sector -- Thanks to the growth of the group in its operation and the opportunities for expansion that occur both inside and outside the country for the drive to eradicate hunger and improve people's living conditions, Creser seeks to carry out a feasibility study with a view to exporting Service of school restaurants to the country of Panama; A country that due to its great economic growth and stable government policies become an epicenter for the search of new markets -- The Panamanian Food Security Program acts in a similar way as the other programs under FAO's leadership to guarantee the right to every person to be free from hunger -- Thus, the Creser group looks for be directly involved as a provider because it is viable

    The food waste problem in the world has become increasingly critical and is beginning to appear on different government agenda -- This has led to more and more research about the subject -- One of the most complete studies was carried out by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO, 2012), which evidenced the negative social, economic and environmental impacts generated by this problematic -- In developing countries like Colombia, the social problem is critic, there is a large number of people in a state of vulnerability due to lack of food (DNP, 2016) -- The present work is a feasibility analysis for a business model that reduces food waste in the different stages of the production chain -- The work will be developed under the United Nations Organization for Industrial Development - UNODI methodology -- The deliverable of the project will be a document that evaluates the viability of a business model that generates positive impacts for people, the environment, businesses and investors

    Through the UNIDO methodology for the preparation of industrial feasibility studies, it will be established whether if is feasible that the six partners of the design architectal company Bassico Arquitectos’ dedicate to their firm one hundred percent of the working time. Despite they have been working part time to develop some projects, they have not made yet the decision to work full time at their company because there is not any analysis of how to things need to be in order to do it. By market, environment, sectorial, finances, legal and risks studies, that let us cover the nine insights defined by Osterwalder, a business model will be developed to show an operational plan, an organizational structure and a value proposal that allows them to decide continuing or quitting their current jobs.

    Análisis de la pre-factibilidad para la creación de una empresa de servicios de mantenimiento a través de plataformas digitales para la maquinaria y equipo de minería en las regiones lejanas de los centro urbanos de Colombia

    In view of the rise of the collaborative economy and the implementation of service platforms in which interaction between users and companies that promote the approach and acquisition of products and services is facilitated, this degree paper deals with the pre-feasibility analysis of a digital platform whose objective is to offer preventive maintenance services focused mainly on the mining sector, emphasizing clients that are far from the main urban centers of the country. The current economic outlook for the mining sector in Colombia is analyzed and, accordingly, it is inferred that from the mining industry jobs are generated for the mechanical and maintenance engineering subsectors, which encourage the growing demand for maintenance services for the equipment and machines used in this industry. This document analyzes the current economic perspectives of the mining sector in this country, from which it is assumed that in the mining industry jobs are generated for the mechanical and maintenance engineering subsector that encourage the growing demand for maintenance services for equipment and machines used in this industry. Likewise, it analyzes the cost of specialized labor service and its legal costs; with these costs, plus an assumed sales volume and based on the growth prospects of the sector, the economic, legal and administrative viability of the project is verified, which yields good prospects. Finally, the country's technological capacity to support this type of digital service platforms is analyzed. The positive results of this analysis allowed to develop this work, whose objective is to verify the pre-feasibility of a project focused on facilitating access to the preventive maintenance service of equipment and machines.

    Análisis de la viabilidad en el diseño de un modelo de negocio colaborativo dirigido al transporte y la movilización compartidos

    Con las oportunidades que llegaron con el uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) está cambiando el modo en el que las personas consumen y utilizan productos y servicios, así como la manera como buscan la forma de aprovechar mejor la oferta y la demanda existentes en el mercado -- Esta realidad marca la pauta para un consumo colaborativo, entre cuyos ejemplos se encuentran plataformas como Couchsurfing, Blablacar, Airbnb, Uber o Zipcar, entre las más conocidas, y empresas relacionadas con medios de transporte, como Uber o Blablacar, han entrado a competir como respuesta a necesidades de movilidad y transporte, sectores en los que han ganado popularidad -- En Colombia, Uber, Wheels y Mi águila han entrado con fuerza con un modelo de transporte urbano y su puesta en marcha abrió una nueva ventana de oportunidad para los viajes entre ciudades -- La experiencia personal del investigador con servicios de viajes intermunicipales permitió detectar la necesidad de estudiar y mejorar la experiencia respectiva, encontrar beneficios y ventajas del uso de plataformas que ofrecen y promocionan el transporte intermunicipal compartido, o carpooling, y considerar el factor confianza como motivador o inhibidor de uso -- El estudio se centró en mostrar los factores determinantes de la viabilidad de desarrollar un modelo de negocio dirigido a los usuarios basado en aplicaciones móviles de tipo colaborativo en el transporte y la movilización compartidos en Colombia -- Para lograrlo se exploró, desde la perspectiva etnográfica digital que partió de técnicas cualitativas y se reforzó con una cuantitativa -- La investigación se inició con una revisión en sitios de redes sociales mediante escucha social (social listening) de contenidos y valoraciones compartidas por usuarios de un grupo de Facebook usado para carpooling y aplicó entrevistas a personas que viajaban con regularidad entre las ciudades de Medellín y Manizales mediante participación incógnita o abierta para interactuar con los viajeros en los recorridos también se diligenció una encuesta en la página de Facebook mencionada para determinar las preferencias y los motivos de confianza de los usuarios a la hora de realizar los viajes -- Las evidencias mostraron que es viable desarrollar una aplicación móvil según el modelo de carpooling para viajes intermunicipales en Colombia -- También se delimitaron los principales elementos para el correcto diseño del modelo de negocio y se definieron cuáles son los factores clave para dicho tipo de servicios -- El presente trabajo aporta de manera importante al área de mercadeo al investigar factores esenciales que forman las bases para el diseño de plataformas y aplicaciones con modelos colaborativos y se puede tomar el estudio como punto de partida para continuar con futuras investigaciones a partir de los hallazgos encontrados

    The goal of the present research is to establish the viability in the implementation of a new business unit in charge of the architectural services that the company TRES CIMAS S.A.S. offers online -- The analysis of specialized readings will be followed, formulate the business unit of online architectural services, then the investment budget and cash flow will be analyzed (exclusive information about this new unit of a company), and finally, an action plan will be generated based on findings of feasibility for the unit -- As a result of this analysis, the company has a NPV of COP $150.741, with an IRR of 1.3% and positive financial ratios -- Hence, we conclude that the business idea is profitable and we have to keep working on developing the opportunities and strengths that were identified for the company

    Social networks and digital media, according to Stokes (2013), have become the new way to explore content and connect with customers; Digital marketing has the same purpose, intentions and objectives as traditional marketing -- With this in mind, Granadina Beach Moments a Colombian company founded in 2010 that operates in the area of beachwear and that according to its business vision works with high quality inputs that are seen in the use of imported fabrics, manual work and color as protagonists, was raised as a case in which from an entrepreneur perspective has been able to verify that the business extends to the digital plane -- With this research work, the feasibility of converting a company selling swimwear into an e-commerce was analyzed; by means of quantitative methodologies, such as monitoring the main key performance indicators (KPIs) in sales and in digital media using tools such as Google Analytics and social listening, to identify their behavior in relation to sales objectives, and qualitative tools, such as in-depth interviews, focus groups, experience map, eye tracker, wise cluster, cognitive walkthrough, about the experience in the web portal -- The results show the feasibility of converting the company that is being studied in an e-commerce, from aspects related to the purchase experience, the value to execute it and the percentage of conversion

    Análisis de prefactibilidad de la construcción de una planta generadora de energía a partir de desechos orgánicos del oriente antioqueño

    Se realizó un análisis de pre factibilidad para determinar la viabilidad de construir una planta de biodigestión anaerobia de residuos orgánicos generados en empresas del Oriente Antioqueño para producir energía -- Para ello se diseñó de manera conceptual dicha planta y paralelamente se buscaron ofertas comerciales de proveedores internacionales para este mismo tipo de planta -- Esto se hizo con el fin de evaluar cuál de las dos opciones resulta técnica y financieramente más factible -- Para determinar la cantidad de material orgánico a tratar en la planta de biodigestión, se visitaron 13 compañías generadoras de residuos orgánicos de las cuales se seleccionaron 8 como posibles proveedores de materia prima para la planta -- Estas compañías suministrarían 6 742 ton/año en total -- Mediante pruebas fisicoquímicas realizadas en laboratorios de la Universidad de Antioquía se evaluaron los residuos provenientes de las empresas seleccionadas y se determinó que su potencial de generación de biogás es de 611 647 m3/año con una composición de metano de 55,5%v y un poder calorífico teórico de 4 479 kcal/kg -- Con los datos de material orgánico aportado por cada compañía, generación de biogás y cotizaciones a diferentes proveedores, se decidió producir y vender energía eléctrica para la compañía el Ranchero, pues aporta 88,7% de materia prima y se decidió ubicar la planta de biodigestión contigua a esta debido a facilidades de transporte -- Se calculó una producción de energía eléctrica total de 1 056 666 kW/año -- A partir de los datos obtenidos por parte de proveedores internacionales se realizó la evaluación financiera para un periodo de 10 años incluyendo los costos de inversión, ingresos, egresos y costos de operación -- Se obtuvo un VPN negativo de 9 729 MMCOP.,pp La evaluación financiera para la planta diseñada arrojo un VPN negativo de 5 564 MMCOP, mostrando que bajo los parámetros y condiciones evaluadas el proyecto no resulta factible para ninguna de las 2 tecnologías

    Currently few areas of IT have a software product that allows them to manage the acquisition of software projects for all stages of the life cycle of software development such as: business process analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance, much less that can be integrated into a single tool, records and deliverables generated by different outsourcing suppliers as they can get to participate in the aforementioned stages of the life cycle of software development above -- Although we know that there are tools on the market like this, by our experience and business contacts we identified that very few companies have implemented and institutionalized within their organizations, which leads us to identify a possible business niche that is not being exploited and that could be our reach venture into -- The reasons why IT areas not supported by these tools could be the cost, just usability of existing ones, the ignorance of its existence, the ignorance of its profits, among others, and will be the subject of this study -- With the prefeasibility study we seek a first concept of the feasibility of building a tool of this type, which will allow us to determine the continuity of investment reflected in a more structured and detailed and then building the product
